We purchased 2" memory foam to go on our king-sized bed. We already bought new pillow-top mattresses but they were still lacking. We were tossing and turning all night. Purchased the memory foam and WOW does it make a difference. It shipped lightening fast. The smell dissipated quickly and it took it's correct form within 2 hours. We slept on it the day it came. Would highly recommend especially if your back hurts! Great price and great quality.

OK, I have bought several versions of this on line and the Serta is the nicest. There is no smell, they unfold nicely if left alone and are very very comfortable. I bought these for an arthritic nun in her 80's that said she had her first full nights's sleep in years (she has knee and hip problems). They are so impressed with the product that I ordered a second one for another nun that has Rheumatoid arthritis and usually has to sleep in a chair and get up and walk in the middle of the night...who had her first good night sleep that she can remember...she woke up once but fell back to sleep - what a testiment!

I followed the instructions for uncoiling the foam topper. Left it rest in an empty room for 2 days to air out. and put it on my bed. It was a great fit. Couldn't believe how heavy it is... I have slept better since I started using it. I change position less during the night and wake up more refreshed. I cannot believe the difference this topper has made in my bed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone unhappy with their mattress but couldn't afford to invest in a new set>

The 2 inch Sealy memory foam mattress cover was recommended by a bed & breakfast owner. So glad I dcided to try it, no more hip discomfort.

This is the third 2" Serta Memory Foam topper that I have purchased. I will only buy Serta! The best, in my opinion. It's very comfortable for us, and my guests also tell me they had a great night's sleep on the bed with the Serta topper. I just bought this 3rd topper for our RV....the mattress is on a hard wood surface (storage underneath), so the memory foam topper makes it very comfortable.

While this was an extremely good price, it did not come with a cover. It has taken me over a month to find a reasonably priced cover that didn't cost as much as the whole mattress! A cover is a must, so read all descriptions of this product.Extremely comfortable; has made all the difference in my sleep.

I bought this mattress topper because sometimes when the weather is cold my hips hurt while sleeping on my firm mattress. So far I am very pleased with it. My bed is so comfortable that I feel much more rested because I am sleeping much better without tossing and turning. The two inch thickness is just right for me. I was worried that my sheets might not fit over it, but they do. As other reviewers have mentioned, the size was just slightly smaller than the mattress, but that was a good thing because it allowed the sheets to fit and when you lie on it the width increases slightly. The smell was not a factor--I left the topper out for a day before putting it on the bed to allow the smell to dissipate but it probably wouldn't have bothered me anyway when covered by a mattress cover and sheets. I'm thinking of buying one for my elderly mother. Somebody told me that memory foam mattresses are hot in the summer, but if that turns out to be true of the topper, I can always take it off temporarily.

I ordered the Serta Memory Foam mattress topper as a Christmas gift for a relative, so I haven't used it and can't comment on the quality of the product itself. What I can say is that it arrived on my porch only 2 days after I placed the order! The cardboard box was pretty banged up but the contents were unharmed.

From the first night, we have enjoyed the topper. Even our 9-year-old grandson was impressed when he laid down on it. It adds to an already nice mattress. My wife and I can tell a difference in the way our backs feel. Wish I had bought this years ago.

This foam mattress has made a huge difference in my sleep. It is very comfortable. My rating on value is based on the fact that this is a twin size foam mattress which is the same cost as a king size mattress that is twice the size. There was very little odor so I could use the mattress shortly after receiving it.

Got a good bed that is starting to wear out? Need to extend the life of your mattress? My high-end pillow top mattress is 5-years old and now uncomfortable. Bought this hoping to get reliel and I did! Went for 2-inch to ensure fit over my sheets and not make my bed too tall (think about that as climbing into bed might not work for everyone). Picked 4-lb for density, it is a bit firm for my taste, maybe a 3lb would be a bit less firm? If anyone out there knows that, please post. Product did have the polyurethane foam smell when first opened but went away quickly, left it to air out for a week and it was fine. Sleeping on it is wonderful and the mattress topper pretty much eliminates bed movement, so if the person you sleep with is restless or moves around lots, you are not going to notice it anymore. This was an added bonus! Bottom line - buy this if you want a little more comfort from your mattress and your sheets/bed will fit with the additional height gained by adding the mattress topper. Oh yes, this was the lowest price on the web by half! Deal!!

We received this order quickly, it was packed beautifully. It took but all of 4-5 seconds for the mattress to spring into shape.It has a little bit of a smell at first but after a few days the smell goes away. The quality is the best, don't buy anything other than a Serta Memory Foam Mattress Topper. We bought the 2-inch and it is perfect. We slept wonderfully.Great product, shipped fast, great quality and great price. You've done it again Overstock!

Much better than the generic memory foams. The only complaint is that it doesn't come with a cover. Make sure you air it out for at least a day like the other reviewers suggested.

After doing some research we were convinced to buy the 2" 4lb/cu. ft. memory foam. It fit fine under our existing mattress pad (over a European pillow top mattress). The only difference we notice in the bed is that we sleep better. We really don't feel any difference when we get into bed. It's as comfortable as our bed always was (we love our mattress). We just seem to sleep better.

I bought a similar item for my king size bed. I bought this one for my 5 year old son who refused to sleep anywhere but my bed after I got mine. I put it on his bed the day I received it. He loves it. Sleeps great! This was a great purchase. Have recommended it to everyone in my office!

Unpleasant smell initially, but better after airing it in sun for 2 days, and then after one week on the bed it was barely noticeable. Very comfortable to sleep on.
