Serta
Started in 1931, Serta began producing mattresses during a time when people were looking to get the most for their dollar. Opening a business during an economic recession could have been a disaster for the burgeoning mattress company, but Serta was intent on producing quality mattresses that didn't sacrifice comfort for price. Sales skyrocketed, and soon Serta mattresses began to grow, despite a failing economy. The Pillow Soft mattress may be what launched Serta to fame, but the Serta Perfect Sleeper could be the brand's most well-loved product. Created in 1983, the Perfect Sleeper is a foam hybrid mattress that combines convoluted foam with innerspring technology to make a mattress that is both supportive and soft.
