We bought this mattress for our 4 year old son's big bed. I was a bit worried about buying a mattress online and whether it would be comfortable for him. Everything was taken care of as far as delivery - complete A+ service. This mattress is amazing! It is so soft and comfortable. You will not regret this purchase!!! (He now stays in his comfortable bed all night long)!Read More
Very comfortable. Used with a platform bed (did not use the box spring it came with). Bough it for my son's room. He likes it a lot.Read More
This was purchased for my 14 year old daughter. We upgraded her twin bed to a full size bed. She feels like a princess on this mattress. She says its very comfortable. The price point was perfect and the product is great.Read More
I have had this bed for a few months. I already had a pillow top pad and have used it with this. This bed is adequate for children who are smaller and weigh less than a full size adult. That is what the bed will hold up to. I wanted a smaller bed. The pillow top is a very flimsy egg crate covering with no real loft to it. If it was easy to return I would have. If you add your own pillow top memory foam to this it is a very comfy mattress.Read More
It is a little scary to buy a mattress and box spring on-line. I read the reviews and felt it would be fine for my 12 year old grandson's room. Overstock did not disappoint. Shipping was prompt and delivery was hassle free. I would not hesitate to buy a large furniture item from Overstock.Read More
I am so pleased with this mattress. I have been looking for a new mattress for months and with the state of the economy I did not want to spend over $1000 for a good set. I was a little skeptical ordering a mattress without being able to see, touch and feel the firmness. But, I have suffered for so long with body aches from my old mattress that I had to do something. The mattress arrived in two weeks and my first night sleep was heavenly. If you like firm with a touch of plush then this is the mattress for you!Read More
Once upon a time, I slept like a corpse. I would crawl into bed, fall asleep, and sleep so deeply, I used to say I didn't sleep at night, I died. Then my old mattress finally aged too much and I was tossing and turning and sore all the time. I came to Overstock for one reason - mattress delivery charges are absolutely ridiculous, and I wondered if Overstock would deliver it for their normal $2.95. And wouldn't you know, they DO! AWESOME. So, many reviews later, I decided on this one, with visions of my parent's pillow top mattress dancing in my head. (Their guest bed is so heavenly, I never want to leave it.) The reviews on this sounded like it would be similar. Alas, it wasn't. Now, don't get me wrong - this is a high quality mattress. I couldn't be happier about the condition it arrived in, the delivery, as well as the price. This mattress will last for many years to come. Also, just to note (not a complaint) the mattress is really high, so I actually have to hop a bit to get in to bed. (My Maltipoo still has issues jumping up on it sometimes, and forget my Shih Tzu - he can't make the leap on his own.) HOWEVER, it was not the heavenly cloud I was hoping for. It's really quite firm (which is what I wanted), but I chose firm with plush topping hoping it would make it a cushion-y firm, which it does not. I am a stomach sleeper and, despite the plush topping, I can feel the pressure from the springs in my stomach. I toss and turn even more than I did in my horrible old mattress. It's so bad, I often sleep on the couch just to avoid it. I have to be drop-dead-exhausted to fall asleep in this thing, otherwise, I just keep myself awake flipping around all the time. I'm now here shopping for a memory foam topper to avoid having to buy another new mattress. This may not be so bad for back sleepers - I can't speak to that - but for me, it just wasn't comfortable.Read More
I have had this bed for a year and like it very much. It is cozy and soft. If you need a firm mattress do not buy this set.Read More
I bought two for my kids bedrooms almost a year ago and they are great! Very comfortable and Not too firm nor soft. These will last well into their teens. Went looking at mattress store and the quality was less and the price was way more. Also, I paid only 2.95 to ship both. While at the mattress store they wanted over $100 to deliver. Don't miss out on this great deal :DRead More
I bought this mattess set for my 13 year old son who needed to graduate to a larger bed. This is by far an excellent matress set and I know will last him for years to come. The mattress is just firm enough, just soft enough to be so comfortable that a good nights sleep is definite. I would recommend this mattress set to anyone.Read More

Pillow top mattresses make increasing comfort easy. If you're shopping for the best mattress, you'll want to learn about the most popular sizes of pillow tops.
Top 5 Reasons for Buying an Air Mattress

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

How to Dry Foam Mattress Pads
On top of your current mattress, mattress pads add comfort without costing you a fortune. A new mattress pad will make your bed feel brand new and offer support that your bed may be lacking due to years of use. Foam mattress pads come in different sizes to fit different mattress sizes. When accidents happen, such as spilled water, or when you need to spot clean, understanding how to dry a foam mattress pad is important. Read through this article to learn how to dry foam mattress pads.
FAQs about Memory Foam Mattress Toppers
Mattress toppers are made to be placed on top of your existing mattress. The foam molds to your body, supporting all parts of it equally, so there are no pressure points to cause pain and soreness. Memory foam mattress toppers are a great way to give life to an older bed. Look below to learn answers to the most frequently asked questions about memory foam mattress toppers.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
FAQs about Mattress Sets
You spend a third of your life sleeping on a mattress, so choosing between different mattress sets is an important decision. Mattress set options have exploded in variety in the last decade with advances in both foam-mattress and innerspring-mattress technology, and you're more likely than ever before to find the perfect mattress set. However, if all the options make choosing a new mattress set seem confusing, you can make the process quick and easy by doing a little research about mattresses. Keep reading for answers to some common questions about mattress sets.
How to Choose a Serta Mattress
If your mattress is making it hard to sleep, try a new Serta mattress. Waking up with aches and sore muscles is a signal that your mattress is beginning to wear out. Standard spring mattresses can begin to lose shape after only five to seven years, causing loss of support that can lead to back problems and weakened joints. To stop sleepless nights, turn to one of America's most trusted brands. Serta mattresses go through rigorous testing processes to make sure that the mattress you purchase will last longer and support you better than other mattresses. Here are a few helpful tips on figuring out how to choose a Serta mattress.
How to Pick a Pillow
Even if you have a top-of-the-line mattress and an 800 thread count sheet set, your bed is not likely to be comfortable without the right pillow tucked under your cheek. Nothing ruins a good night's sleep like a bad pillow. Unfortunately, it's easy to underestimate the value of a good pillow. Not only do good pillows add aesthetic value to your bed, but they can also be the difference between a restful night or an aching back and neck. Pillows come in different shapes, sizes and firmness. Take a look below to learn how to pick a pillow.
How to Buy Sheets to Fit a Pillow-Top Mattress
Everyone knows that pillow-top mattresses are designed for additional softness and comfort. Due to the padding, pillow-top mattresses have more depth than regular mattresses. The height of the padding varies, but generally, manufacturers make pillow-top mattresses in depths varying from 7 to 22 inches. Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets. Here's how to buy the best sheets to fit your pillow-top mattress.
FAQs about California King Mattresses
When you are shopping for a mattress, you have a lot of choices to make, and the size is one of the most important. Since the 1960s, you've had one more choice: the California king. If you have questions about this size of mattress, you aren't alone. Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about California King mattresses.
How to Select a Box Spring
Many people underestimate the importance of a good box spring, but as the foundation of the bed, it can be just as vital to the comfort of your mattress set as the mattress. Before purchasing a box spring, it's necessary to think about size, quality and value, as well as comfort. The right box spring can make or break a mattress purchase, so shop wisely and take the time to select the box spring that's right for your bed. To select a box spring, good research and patient shopping are the keys to success.
Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.

However, doing a bit of homework on mattress covers, also known as mattress protectors, can help you understand just how effective mattress covers are so that you'll be satisfied with your purchase. Keep reading for the answers to frequently asked questions about bedbug mattress covers.
FAQs about Deep Pocket Sheets
If your mattress is thicker than 14 inches, you may have struggled to find the right sheets. No one wants to worry about keeping a fitted sheet on the mattress, but if you have a pillow-top mattress or you use a mattress topper, that may be an issue for you. If you're not sure what to shop for, take a look at these answers to frequently asked questions about deep pocket sheets.
