I bought this mattress set in September primarily for the value of getting such a quality king set for a bargain price. However, base don a few of the reviews, I expected a much firmer feel. This is a VERY plush mattress, almost too soft and luxurious for me. I tend to like a very firm mattress with a light cushion top, however, I'm happy with this purchase overall. I fall asleep instantly as my head hits the pillow. This is the second mattress set that I've purchased from Overstock.com and I'm sure I'll be back for more!
Purchased for my son....so these are his comments, not mine...he's pleased with the bed...however, he did need an "egg crate" to add a bit of softness...the matress itself was a bit stiff, so if you like a firmer mattress, this is for you. Delivery company was great, contacted us well before hand, so we could set up a time for delivery (I had to meet them at my son's house)...they set it up, and took away all the wrappings. Outstanding, to say the least...have been pleased with all my Overstock purchases!!
I bought the plush mattress set before researching and learning the terminology of the market. After researching, I learned that I accidentally ordered a plush instead of the desired pillow top. After realizing that, I purchased a 4" memory foam mattress topper (California King which covers the King size mattress) and now I feel like I'm sleeping on a marshmallow. I have learned that the pricing is pretty average, I couldn't beat the delivery price, so I saved a little by purchasing from Overstock.com. I have not slept on the bed without the topper, so I can't rate the bed alone.
