I did an extensive amount of research before purchasing this topper. I had read all of the good reviews as well as the negative ones. I was prepared to get a stinky compressed topper that I was going to have to let air out for days before I could use it. To my surprise when I opened the box there was only a faint oder and I only had to wait a few hours for it to get its shape and the odor gone . I received it in a very timely manner and have been quite satisified with it. I would reccomend anyone who is looking to extend their old mattress's life at a reasonable price this is definatly the way to go. The only draw back that I have is that my bed is on a pedestal and by adding 4 inches on top of that its a little harder to get in bed than I expected but if I have to get a little stool to get into the bed that is only a miner inconvience compared to the comfort of the topper. and the money I saved. I was a little disappointed in the pillows though. I already have 2 Temper pedic pillows and was expecting something at least similar, the only thing they have in commom is there shape but considering the price difference I cannot complain too loud.

This is awesome, I had a foam topper before and I bought this to replace my old one. Sleeping like a baby, the only issue is that it still stinks, but well worth it for a awesome night sleep.

I aired this product out for two days and it still has a strong chemical smell. I have sprayed it with Fabreeze twice to no avail.Save your money and invest in a proper matress.

I bought a King size for my Queen size bed, due to other reviews and am very glad i did. Cutting away the excess is not an easy thing to do. It takes 2 people and i recommend that the one holding the excess pulls a little to help keep a straight and clean cut. Anyways, Very comfortable and all sleep problems are gone. no more oversleeping back pains or tossing and turning. These 4 inches "cradle" you. I do not feel like im sinking but i feel like its conforming to me. And it does. I recommend. The smell was not as bad as i expected. i aired it out for only 24 hours and the smell went away almost completely in about a week. Pillows are excellent. I dont know how i slept without them!!!

This is a very comfortable mattress topper. I couldn't believe that it would remember it's pre packaging shape. The topper came tightly rolled, but after about an hour was good to go. You do sink in to this topper, and moving about takes some practice, but it is for a very nice nights sleep.

My husband and I needed some sort of foam on our mattress. We had been sleeping on down "like" feather beds, but over time they had worn down, gotten lumpy, and were terribly uncomfortable.I found this, read the reviews, and decided to purchase this for our bed. When it arrived, I rolled it out per the instructions. I was pleasantly surprised that it had fluffed back to it's original shape, within a few hours, not 24, as I expected. The smell was minimal, the pillows very comfortable. It gave us the best night's sleep we have had in a long time.This product is totally worth the money. Especially if you need some extra support and are dealing with aches and pains.Thank you Overstock.com for providing quality products at bargain prices.

I bought this memory foam topper for my 23 year old son who got injured at work. His back has been preventing him from having a good night's sleep for months now. We tried this topper thinking that if it didn't help it was still inexpensive enough to just use on the guest bed. Well, my son is sleeping like a baby again. Yes he still has back problems (that will require medical intervention) but at least he can get a more comfortable sleep and more of it until he has his surgery. Best money ever spent!

My daughter suffers from FMS back pain. Bought this item to reduce night pressure on pain points and help her sleep better. Within two days after the product arrived it had unrolled perfectly (thanks for the tips about letting it unroll itself) and the smell was virtually gone. Since that time her night sleeping is much improved, and she loves it. Great product!

My husband and I have had the same mattress for the past 4 years - a hand me down for our first apartment from a family friend - who had it for at least 10 years....Needless to say its time for a new one and we just can't get the cash together! This is a fantastic stand in and really "perks up" our old mattress. Highly suggest this product. Spend the extra $50 to get this one that is all memory foam and not just plain old foam. One down side is the smell, we let it air our as long as the paper suggested but it still made our sheets smell. We have had it for a couple weeks and it continues to fade so I am not too worried. It also says the smell is normal and it is not harmful.

We had a serta pillow top mattress that was about 6 yrs old. It had a huge dip in it from where my husband sleeps, so every night I felt like I was fighting my way out of a hole, I would toss and turn trying to get comfortable. I would wake up with back, hip and leg pain, and my legs would fall asleep during the night. I wasn't sure if this mattress topper would help but I was desperate for sleep and we didn't want to spend the money on a brand new bed. So far it has made a huge difference, I don't toss and turn, and I wake up without pain. The pillows that came with it are great too. It only took about 2 hours for it to regain its shape after taking it out of the box. But we have had it almost 3 weeks and there is still a slight smell (The first week the smell was VERY strong) After about 3 weeks, I have noticed I am starting to feel that "dip" so I am hoping that it doesn't loose its support.

I ordered this 4" serta memory foam topper because my mattress was getting old and uncomfortable, but I did not want to spend the money for a new one. I have one of these toppers on another bed in my summer home & I went from having backaches every morning when I awoke to no backaches. So I bought another one & find it to be very comfortable. It comes tightly rolled, so you have to be careful when pulling it apart. I left it open for a couple of days before putting it on the mattress & it was fine & did not have any smell. You will feel much higher on your bed because it does add 4" to the mattress & you will need to get extra deep sheets. Also, you need to be careful not to smoke or put anything electrical near the topper that could cause it to catch fire, because the foam is highly flammable. I am very happy that I purchased it and would recommend it to others.

This product was recommended by a friend. WOW! I had purchased a very expensive memory foam mattress and was very disappointed that I was still suffering from issues with pressure points and body aches. My mattress was like sleeping on a large phone book. This topper was a Godsend. I am now able to sleep very comfortably and enjoy the softness and support that I expected from a memory foam mattress. I am disappointed that I waited so long to purchase. The pillows are not as comfortable as I expected, but I did not purchase this item for the pillows.

I have never written a review on any item I have ordered online, but I want to on this mattress. I recently purchased this mattress and it is absolutely WONDERFUL, 110 % COMFORTABLE!! Buy it! I have had major neck and back surgeries in 2006. I now have plates and bolts in both my neck and back. For 3 years I had to sleep in a recliner because my mattress killed my back and the couch hurt my neck. Now, every night I enjoy going to bed, finally, because of my new Serta Foam Mattress. Have no doubt this is the mattress to buy. I can now actually sleep in my bed. And I love the pillows. They are excellent for my neck. My queen size comforter fits over the mattress and looks absolutely fine too!

My husband and I both have lower back pain. It has been a few weeks now of sleeping on the memory foam topper and we noticed that the pain has decreased significantly. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

i have scoliosis, several herniated discs, and a right shoulder that needs surgery for torn rotator cuff.before buying and using this memory foam mattress topper....i was miserable. now...i feel so good not only when i wake up, but sleep wonderfully. i highly recommend this product.

Our Pillow Top mattress is 4 years old, so we decided to try a Memory Foam Topper. It took about 10 days to be delivered, which was a lot longer than we expected. We laid out our King Size Memory Foam Topper on our living room floor for 2 days to air out the smell, since it was strong. We also put our air purifier in the room to help eliminate the smell. (A little side note....be careful with little kids, as we had it spread out on our living room floor, and our 16 mth decided to take a "bite" out of the foam, so we have a little hole in it. We were shocked that her little teeth were strong enough to bite a piece out of it).After we put the topper on our bed, we were so excited to try it out. We LOVE IT! My husband had to get used to it at first, but now all he talks about is how much he loves the Memory Foam Topper. I love the Contour Pillows too, and I felt immediate relief on my back and neck. We knew it was a great investment when we slept in until 10:30 AM one weekend...even our 16 mth slept in with us! We totally recommend the investment, and look forward to going to bed every night! Now the only problem is getting up in the morning to get to work on time! (:

Through Overstock.com, I was able to replace my old-worn out mattress topper with one of the best toppers I've ever come across. Not only is Serta's 4-inch memory foam delightfully comfortable, it was not too expensive and shipped very quickly! The moment you lay down upon it, you'll feel like you're in heavan!!!Plus, I have always had a touch of insomnia that keeps me awake well into the night hours. With this mattress topper, I've seen a dramatic decrease in the number of hours I lay around trying to fall asleep.Also, they really mean it when they say this material doesn't trap odors. I'm an occasional smoker and even after a few weeks of sitting in my room with the smoke smell- it has yet to pick any of them up!!I couldn't be happier with this product if I tried! I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who is looking for a good nights rest- night after night!!
