I ordered the 3" queen sized memory foam pad to be delivered to my son's home on the West Coast prior to a visit, since we would be sleeping on an old mattress there. I paid for expedited shipping and was very pleased that it arrived a few days ahead of schedule. I thought the item was a great value based on comparisons I made before buying, and it was very comfortable, giving new life to the old bed. I would have given it a 5 for comfort, except that my husband found it a little too soft, while I thought it was perfect. Maybe for him the 2" pad would have been better. Altogether, a great buy!

This item was purchased to cover a very sad mattress we had. The box came, it was a little discouraging, not much to look at. I followed the instructions in the package and waited about 3 days prior to putting it on the bed. We now have a sound sleep every night! I love this item and choose this size thickness after reading others reviews. The 3 inch is fine, but maybe we would have picked a 4 inch instead, only because our mattress is so thin. I would recomend!

We have an old uncomfortable mattress, but didn't want to spend thousands of dollars to buy a new mattress so we thought we would try this mattress pad first. It was worth the money! And now our bed is very comfortable! The reason I gave "appearance" 3 out of 5 stars is because I bought a king size pad for my king size mattress and no matter which way I turned it, it did not fit exactly. It is about 2 inches too short, but it really was not a big deal. Our sheets still fit over it fine and if your feet do not reach all the way to the end of your mattress you will never notice it (or you could make the short end at the head of your bed and you wouldn't notice it with your pillows on top). The 3" pad will give you a soft mattress. My son has a 2" pad, which is also very comfortable but will give a firmer feel. The thicker, softer pad is better if you wake up with achy joints because of pressure from your mattress. The pillows are great if you prefer a firm pillow

This is the second Serta topper I have purchased. the first was for myself and the second as a gift. Everyone agrees it is amazing, like sleeping on a cloud. I have added a high quality mattress pad over the top of it, (also purchased on Overstock). No need to buy a new mattress when you can rejuvenate your old one with these at a fraction of the cost. Just had a request to order another for my brother in law! It speaks for itself...Oh, and don't forget to order a nice set of quality sheets from Overstock to complete your good night's sleep!

I bought two of these for my girls twin beds when they complained my bed more comfortable than theirs. (I have a memory foam mattress.) I surprised them with toppers and they love them. It was cheaper than buying them both mattresses anyway. The quality is nice and they are just the right cush on a firmer mattress. Glad I purchased, and so glad for Overstock and their low shipping costs. I check Overstock now first for just about all my purchases.
