I bought this bed because of my bad back. Thinking that memory foam would be the best choice. Wrong decision ever. I bought a King size and my husband and I are always in the middle of the bed since it's so soft. To get out of bed, I feel like someone needs to help me off it. I should have bought a water bed, that might have been better for my back. I want to send it back but they won't take it since it's been over 3 months. Buy it if you want sleepless nights.Read More
This mattress is terrible. The quality of the foam is not good. It's basically made of the same material as an egg-crate foam mattress topper, but not nearly as comfortable. I'm sore every day and have even started having shoulder problems. It's not like I'm old either - I'm in my early 30s and pretty healthy in general, but this mattress is destroying me. I contacted overstock several times to see if anything could be done, but got no promised response the first time and no promised response the second time, and finally got a response after I contacted them a third time. And their response was essentially that it can't be shipped back UPS once it's out of the box, so I can't return it. End of story. So I'm stuck with a ~$$$ piece of crappy foam that's making me miserable and either have to suck it up and deal with it or shell out for a mattress all over again. I'm not very happy with overstock's customer service either. This isn't the first time I've had to bother them repeatedly to get any sort of answer out of them. Long story short, stay away! And don't buy a mattress from overstock. The first one I bought from them was great, but it seems like if you have a problem they don't care.Read More
Great mattress for the value. My son loves his new bed!Read More
We have dealt with this mattress for over a year and it is horrible. The foam certainly doesn't have "memory" - after a couple of weeks, there were indentions where my husband and I slept, with a hill in between us. We have tried flipping it, turning it, sleeping in different positions - the mattress is awful. We thought we were getting a good deal on a new mattress, but it ended up being a disappointing waste of money. There's only a 90 day limited warranty, so it will end up in the dump soon. Save your money, and your sleep - don't buy this mattressRead More
Got this bed online, not really knowing what I was getting and the results are amazing. Me and my kids love this bed. It doesnt sink with over 400 pounds on it. Not too soft yet not too firm. Its just right. The first night I got it I slept like a bay. I have a bad back and this bed is just perfect!Read More
We were at a local do-it-yourself store and we were looking at their King sized mattress's and noticed a memory foam mattress in a box. We were surprised since we have never seen them before. It was a little pricey, but still cheaper them a complete mattress and box spring in a King size. I decided to look on Overstock to see what they had. I has amazed at the amount of mattress's they carried. We looked at the Reversible Comfort Medium Firm 10-inch King-size Foam Mattress and was quite pleased with the price. We have had several mattress's and not a days they all carry the Pillow Top mattress, which is NOT made like it used to be. I have problems with my back and need support, with the Pillow top you can not flip the mattress to prolong the life of the mattress, you end up sleeping in ruts. We made our decision on the price alone. WOW the price could not be beat. The shipping was FREE which was also amazing. We received our mattress within 3 days!!! We opened it and let it air for 48 hours per instructions. The first night was alright, the second night was alright, but the 3rd night and every night since have been wonderful. My back does not hurt in the morning. It is a medium firm and I am so glad that we bought it. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone who had a bad back and needs support. My husband doesn't snore as much as he used to and when we both turn we don't feel the bed move.Read More
I wanted a really nice King Size Foam Mattress for our guest room & this one is just perfect! It's soooo comfy, in fact when it arrived I laid down on my stomach on it & I was extremely surprised I could do that so comfortably. I can't lay on my stomach on my own much more expensive foam mattress. Delivery was amazingly fast too! I received it within the same week I ordered it. The mattress arrived in a tall box which was easy to unpack & unroll. They recommend you unroll it & let it come to it's original size for 24 or 48 hrs (I can't remember which) so I did & it puffed back up perfectly. I read the reviews of this mattress at Overstock.com before I bought it to see what others had to say & I'm very happy I purchased it. The price is fantastic & the mattress is great. Oh, and it's really lightweight! I had a new guest room bed delivered & the delivery men very kindly brought this mattress upstairs for me & commented on how light it was.Read More

Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
FAQs about your Latex Mattress
If you're looking to upgrade to a latex mattress or have already bought one, you may have a few questions. Often used to replace innersprings in a mattress's core and provide a base for memory foam mattress toppers, latex mattresses are gaining popularity because their unique elastic properties provide a firm sleeping surface that conforms to your unique body shape. This guide will answer frequently asked questions about your latex mattress and provide you with all the information you need to become acquainted with this new bedding trend.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
