Bought this mattress for my husband who hates memory foam...this he loves. It like sleeping on your sofa. Mattress is firm but gives with your body's weight. No waiting for memory foam to bounce back and no heat from memory foam either. Its covered in a well made mattress cover which is not removable. All in all its a great mattress. Well worth the money.Read More
Like most reviewers here my experience with this mattress is positive. I've only had the mattress a few weeks, and have no complaints. It's very comfortable. The only issue is durability at this point. If it can stand up to the test of time it will be one of the best bargains in the history of bedding. Very well worth the price. -Also not there was no chemical smell when the mattress was unpacked-Read More
We ordered two of these for our kids. I had done some research to see if these were Memory Foam by using some key words from the description. My findings were inconclusive. I ordered them anyway. THEY ARE NOT memory foam or at least not like my tempur-pedic, but they are of good quality high density foam and perfect for kids. They arrived within four or five days. We are very happy with the purchase but wanted to save folks who are wondering if they are memory foam some time from doing research.Read More
This mattress was perfect for our cabin trundle bed. I was worried about how the mattresses would arrive and was pleasantly surprised with an easy to maneuver box. I've transported lots of mattresses, but I've never been able to load two (2) twin mattresses in a compact car! I removed the mattresses from the box and laid them on top of the bed frame. Within 24 hours they were full height and size. We usually pull the trundle up and use the bed as a king size bed for adult children. Our kids are tall, over 6 feet and weigh between 150 - 180 lbs. They loved the mattresses and slept comfortably. The mattresses DO NOT have a wire ridge common on some twin mattresses.Read More
I love this mattress. It's the perfect density for me (firm but still comfortable), I've slept better than I have in years. I may well change all of the beds in the house to the foam mattresses.....great price.Read More
When these mattresses arrived in a cardboard box, I had my doubts. But when I unpacked them, they rolled out and came out perfect. These are amazing and so comfortable. I added a padded mattress pad and they feel great.Read More
I purchased this foam mattress to go with the twin frame that I purchased. I was hesitant but i was pleasantly surprised, I was on bed rest for a few weeks and the mattress was so comfortable but firm.Read More
Have this mattress now for a month for my 2yr old son and so far so good. No complaints! I was worried about those 'Mattress in a Box' but once I took it out and let it breathe (less than 5 minutes!), you would never notice it did. Test it out myself and my wife and I are considering getting one ourselves. Happy with the product.Read More
Bought this mattress a year ago to fit a twin bed trundle in a guest room. Have been very pleased. Mattress is compressed for shipping but expanded quickly to it's full size and lost the packaging smell quickly also. Guests say they are very comfortable. Not sure how it would hold up with every day use but it is great for my purposes.Read More

Is this mattress made of latex foam?
Hello micheleglazer, no latex. This mattress contains high density polyurethane foam. Thank you for shopping with us.
What are the dimensions of this mattress? Will it for on your under bed trundle unit that is 73" long?
I bought this for my daybed. I put the twin on my classic trundle (the metal kind on rollers that pops up) and there is an inch or two clearance. On the top level, I used a twin XL mattress because I didn't like the gaps at the head and foot. Very pleased with how it worked out.
Hello kpmom13, the dimensions of the Select Luxury Reversible 7.5-inch Medium Firm Twin-size Foam Mattress are 39Wx75Lx7.5H. This mattress would work great on a trundle. Thank you for shopping with us.
We bought it for the top level of my daughter's bunk bed which is used primarily to store stuffed animals and occasionally provide space for an overnight guest. It fits a bunk bed perfectly; not sure about a trundle.
do you need a box spring for this mattress?
We used this mattress for a platform bed, so no box spring was needed.
No you will not need a box spring with this bed. Please let us know if you have any further question.
we put this on an antique bed and used solid plywood vs slats. It's still as comfortable as the same queen size one on a regular boxspring.
How to Select a Memory Foam Mattress
If you wake up with sore shoulders or an aching back, your old mattress is probably to blame. When you upgrade to a memory foam mattress, you'll enjoy comfortable nights on the viscoelastic foam that was originally developed by NASA scientists. To make sure you get the best mattress for your needs, you'll want to consider these factors while you're online shopping for a memory foam mattress.
How to Clean Foam Mattresses
Foam mattresses can range in design from luxurious and thick memory foam beds to roughly-cut slabs of camping foam. Even some pet beds are made with foam. What all foam mattresses have in common, however, is an ability to absorb liquid at an astonishing rate. Unfortunately, accidents happen, and they often happen on foam mattresses. Take a look below to learn how to clean foam mattresses.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
