The mattress came in a large long narrow box, the box frame came unassembled in another large long square narrow box. Delivery was exactly as expected. The box frame was very simple to assemble and took about 15-20 minutes at most. The mattress was vacuum packed and rolled up. Once opened, it expanded quickly into a really nice king mattress. I bought it for my lake house bedroom, the old one really hurt my back. I have a Tempurpedic king at my main home and boy is it the greatest! I wanted that kind of comfort without spending $3000. This mattress is slightly firmer, but it's very very comfortable, and I'm totally satisfied with the quality and comfort. When I wake up I don't have the aches and pains like the old mattress, and can now go back and forth and get the same nights sleep in either bed! The foam style is so nice, you sink into it and it shapes to your form releaving pressure points, whether on your back or side. I bought the box frame to ensure the height was right for the bed, and wanted to keep the old mattress set together and use it elsewhere. You could use your box spring though. Great bang for the buck!Read More
I have had this for three days and love it do far. Not real happy that it was left on my front porch because I was not expecting ot so soon. Quick delivery. The boxes were quite heavy and cumbersome. Recommemd two people handle them if you are small. Wood base easy to put together. Definitely recommend this set. Both pieces came with a cover bag.Read More
I waited to write a review because I wanted to see how it was after a few months. I Love the mattress. It is so comfortable. I really hate to sleep away from home because I am not as comfortable. The ez fit foundation is good if you have a tight area to get the foundation through, because it comes all unassembled.Read More

Decided to purchase this mattress without testing it, based on reviews that had been submitted. So glad we did! The mattress is comfortable and my husband and I are both sleeping better as we both have issues with joint and back pain. This mattress is more than worth the money, the same quality in Canada $XXXX.XX( one of the big chain stores) carries this mattress. Ordered it and had it shipped to a border state and we picked up, the entire process was flawless! Overstock was easy to shop, informed us of delivery and everything was perfect! Loyal customers now!Read More
I've sold two mattresses for Overstock since our purchase and my dad sold us on buying it b/c of his purchase! My husband does complain that he feels warm at night but I think that's memory foam in general. The price absolutely cannot be beat though! The guy at the furniture store where we purchased our bed frame didn't believe me on the cost of the mattress, I had to pull this website up to show him!Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello ae76, this is recommended for memory foam mattresses. Thanks for shopping with us!
For this mattress what would be recommended for the bed frame? Does it need a flat surface or just a normal bed frame?
flat box spring
Is this certified by Certi-pur or Oekotex?
Hello iriesue27, I have been able to confirm that all foams in this mattress are CertiPur compliant. Thank you for shopping with us!
The description says it has a foundation, and the reviews indicate a foundation. However, the description also says box spring. That is two different things. It is one or the other. A foundation does not have springs. Can you please tell me which it is? Thanks.
Hello rachelfromls, I am sorry for the confusion. This is a foundation. Thank you for shopping with us.

Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
FAQs about California King Sheets
As the longest beds available on the market, California kings are excellent beds to accommodate tall sleepers. California kings measure 72 inches wide by 84 inches long, which is 4 inches longer than standard king beds. California king size sheets are available in a wide variety of fabrics, colors and thread counts for you to choose from for your California king mattress. Look below to learn answers to the most frequently asked questions about California king sheets.
How to Select a Memory Foam Mattress
If you wake up with sore shoulders or an aching back, your old mattress is probably to blame. When you upgrade to a memory foam mattress, you'll enjoy comfortable nights on the viscoelastic foam that was originally developed by NASA scientists. To make sure you get the best mattress for your needs, you'll want to consider these factors while you're online shopping for a memory foam mattress.
How to Choose a Mattress for Back Pain
There's not a single mattress type that's best for back pain. While studies suggest that a medium-firm mattress is most likely to soothe a sore spine, your mileage may vary: one person's back problem can respond well to a memory foam mattress, while another person might feel best on a model with inner springs. If you're on the hunt for some bedding to help alleviate a sore body, take a look below to learn how to choose a mattress for back pain.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
FAQs about California King Mattresses
When you are shopping for a mattress, you have a lot of choices to make, and the size is one of the most important. Since the 1960s, you've had one more choice: the California king. If you have questions about this size of mattress, you aren't alone. Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about California King mattresses.
Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. As features improve, air mattresses, also known as air beds, are becoming more and more popular and are being used for a number of different functions, even in place of regular mattresses. Keep reading to find out the top five ways that you can get the most out of your air mattress.

A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.

When comparing these two products, consider price, comfort and durability before making a final selection.
