This was a great mattress for a good price. Feels better in the center of the bed than on the edges but overall we are happy with it. It is for a guest bedroom so we are pleased.Read More
Bed came VERY tighty wrapped and was surprised how quickly it expanded. My first bed of its kind. It cradeled me all night long. Wonderful bed!Read More
My sister and her husband bought the brand name product for $2,500 - and loved it . . . but we couldn't afford that kind of expense. I had been watching Overstock for about a year before we decided to purchase . . . and what we have now is immensely better that what we had before. Its quite a bit softer than we expected and my husband can no longer sleep on this stomach- but definitely not too hot and my back doesn't hurt at all in the morning.Read More
This is a very good quality mattress. The size fit very well in my platform bed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that it seems a little soft for a medium firm matress. I would classify it as medim, not medium firm.Read More
This bed is very comfortable. This is our first memory foam mattress and we love it. Great for people with low back pain.Read More
Well, let's see...I ordered this product on 10-13-11 and it's now 7:30 am on 1-2-12 and I had to get up because my back was in so much pain sue to my side of the bed sinking in. This so called "memory foam" forgot how to stay together in less than three months. I bought the warranty, but I'm now thinking that wasn't such a good idea...how the hell am I supposed to send it back to them??? This mattress was a rip off.Read More
I was very nervous about buying a bed offline on this website, but everyone's review on this mattress had me convinced that it was an amazing bed, and it definitely proved to be true. I received the bed very quickly. I let it sit over night so it can rise and to air out some of the smell. The smell isn't as strong as i thoguht it would be. I let it sit with the windows open and a fan blowing on the bed for about 24hrs and it gets lighter and lighter each night. Sleep on the bed is like sleeping on clouds, its so comfortable. It alwasy takes me about a good 15mins to fall asleep after laying in bed but I fall asleep almost immediately on this mattress. I definitely say this is a great buy for an even greater price. You really can't fo wrong with this bed. Its just as good as a temperpedic or any of those other namebrand pedic beds. You won't be disappointed if you get this bed!!!Read More
This is an amazing mattress, I could not be more satisfied! We bought it for our guest bedroom but have decided to put in the master suite instead because my husband and I love it so much! RE: SO COMFY- You are mistaken about them bringing the mattress inside your home (unless you have a very friendly UPS man!) This mattress actually comes in a box- it is compressed but once you lay it out it will unfold into a beautiful, comfortable mattress! I have purchased other mattresses from Overstock that were not memory foam- they were delivered and set up in my home by a local delivery company- but note that this particular mattress comes UPS- and VERY quickly! I absolutely recommend this mattress to EVERYONE!Read More
I love this mattress!! It's incredibly comfortable! I was nervous about buying a mattress online without being able to try it out first, but I was absolutely satisfied with this purchase! It's SO thick and luxurious, I just sink right into it when I get in bed! I have seriously never slept better! It is the perfect firmness- not too soft or too firm- just right! It shipped very quickly and was delivered (and even carried inside to my bedroom!) with out a hitch!Read More

Top 5 Reasons for Buying an Air Mattress
Air mattresses aren't what they used to be. Nowadays, air mattresses offer a slew of sleep-inducing features, like pillow tops, memory foam mattress pads and even built in MP3s, vastly improving on their giant-sized, pool-toy predecessors. As features improve, air mattresses, also known as air beds, are becoming more and more popular and are being used for a number of different functions, even in place of regular mattresses. Keep reading to find out the top five ways that you can get the most out of your air mattress.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
Choosing the Right Density for Your Memory Foam Mattress
A decade ago, choosing a memory foam mattress was easier because there were so few brands and options. However, as the prices of memory foam mattresses have dropped, more brands have begun producing memory foam bedding, and choosing the right mattress has become more challenging. However, one factor remains constant throughout the different brands: memory foam density. Memory foam density, expressed in pounds per cubic foot, makes a big difference in the softness, durability, support, and price of your mattress. Knowing a little about the different densities of memory foam mattresses can simplify the buying process and help you find the memory foam mattress that's right for you.
How to Select a Memory Foam Mattress

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
