We've had this bed for a month and it is by far the most comfortable bed we've ever had! One of us prefers a more firm mattress, while the other prefers a softer one. Somehow, this bed feels perfect to both of us! It had absolutely no odor immediately upon unpacking, and we slept on it the first night. Neither of us has ever slept so soundly or so comfortably, and it continues to amaze us each night! We both realize that we sleep through the night - no more tossing and turning, and all of our mysterious aches and pains have completely disappeared. This bed is incredible and we both wish we had bought it sooner! Without a doubt it's the best money we've ever spent!Read More
At first I was a bit reluctant to order a mattress online as I wanted to test the firmness and quality for myself. I purchased the bed solely on the basis of other customer reviews (thanks guys). Again, I was reluctant in knowing that the bed was shrink wrapped when shipped... TO MY SURPRISE... The bed turned out to be everything the description said it was. The additional foundation was definitely a bonus! This bed is soft, yet firm, comfortable and everything I needed. I am happy.Read More
brand name is better but price was really good and it is very comfyRead More
All I can think to say is WOW! This is the best mattress that I have ever slept on. It is firm but soft and conforms to the body due to the 14" thick memory foam mattress. I looked at a lot of mattress and my wife and I are very happy we decided on this one. Not only was the price better than anything I could find but the comfort is beyond excellent. The EZ fit box spring was extremely easy to assemble and only took a few minutes. I have never slept so well on any mattress until this arrived!!!!! I would strongly recommend this to anyone. The gel foam on the top helps to keep the heat down, and I have not been hot at all since we got this mattress. This is a heavy mattress and best to take out of the box in the room because the mattress bends easily and would be akward moving outside of the box. Based on the other reviews I was under the impression the delivery would include bed assembly, but this did not occur which I was not really surpised by since it was being shipped by UPS.Read More
This bed is fantastic!!1 We got such a deal.. the box spring was sooo easy to assemble.. great that they came in long compact boxes.. easier to move upstairs. My husband has bad back problems and can only sleep on memory foam beds, and he's been sleeping like a baby!! I too get a stiff back at times and love this bed.. the firmness is perfect.. I can't say enough good things about this bed.. if you are contemplating getting a memory form... don't just buy it.. you will not regret it!!!Read More
We have had this mattress/foundation since March, and we have been very happy with it. It has kept it's shape, and both my husband and I weigh around 200 lbs. I really feel like I have gotten a better night's sleep with this mattress and don't feel like I toss and turn as much as I used to. Happy customer right here!Read More
The best bed I have ever slept in. It was easy to set up, just rolled it out of the plastic and the bed started to expand. The smell was not bad at all hardly notice it now.Read More

The king sheets I already owned fitted this deep mattress without a problem
Hello, does the foundation ship as one piece or does it require assembly?. Our old farm house is to small to fit a king size foundation up the stairs, thanks.
It comes in pieces. It was very easy to assemble. My hubby and I did it in an hour. I think you could easily get it up the stairs, moving a few pieces at a time. The mattress comes tightly rolled in plastic, so it could easily be moved upstairs. It would probably take two people, though.
Hello eustace2013, the foundation will ship in pieces. The mattress will be rolled in plastic. Thanks for shopping with us! A.S.
I currently have king pillow top with box springs. The box springs are in two pieces and sit down on slats with a wood rail that runs down middle of bed. Is the foundation with 14 inch gel memory foam foundation all one piece? (If one piece then it couldn't lie flat with middle rail running length of bed). So next question is will the box springs we have had for 10 years be able to properly support the mattress?
Hello ttlee2! This lovely item does include a foundation, that is one piece. Your current box spring could possibly support this mattress properly. Thanks for shopping with us! -Amanda P
I just received my mattress yesterday, can the Gel in the memory foam be identified individually by it's feel or is it built into the over all texture of the mattress?
Hello sonnie112253, there is 1-inch 3.8 pound gel memory foam, 1.75 -inch layer of transition foam, 11-inch supportive foam base, The gel memory foam should be felt from the top of the mattress and it is the first layer. We hope this is helpful to you. Thank you for shopping with us. Vicki H

How to Choose a Mattress for Back Pain
There's not a single mattress type that's best for back pain. While studies suggest that a medium-firm mattress is most likely to soothe a sore spine, your mileage may vary: one person's back problem can respond well to a memory foam mattress, while another person might feel best on a model with inner springs. If you're on the hunt for some bedding to help alleviate a sore body, take a look below to learn how to choose a mattress for back pain.
Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
