GREAT BUY! I was VERY skeptical of ordering a mattress online, especially a memory foam mattress - but did so after reading the great reviews. BEST PURCHASE! The mattress arrived quickly. It did not take long at for it to expand once out of the package (it measures approx 13 inches...). There was no odor at all.This mattress replaced my Serta Queen size inner-spring. The old Serta had a sink hole in the middle and I woke up with constant back pain. After a couple of nights sleeping on this new memory foam mattress - back pain was gone!I am naturally a very "hot sleeper" and was concerned this would be an issue, however it proves not to be. I actually was sleeping hotter on the old inner-spring.Love the mattress, have no problem fitting sheets to it and it's extra comfortable. I purchased the "firm". It feels great. Unless you like EXTRA soft mattresses, I would opt for the firm.
Ever since receiving our new mattress we have looked forward to going to bed every night! We anticipated we would like it, but we didn't realize how much! Especially my husband, he sleeps better and tosses and turns much less, and I don't feel it if he is tossing and turning! We ordered the medium firmness which is pretty firm, although for me with my back problems I think I may have liked the firm a little better. But overall we are very happy with it. It was ready to sleep on within a few hours after unpacking it. I think it feels very comparable to the more expensive brands. We have purchased several things through Overstock now all with very positive results.
I ordered the mattress based on the reviews I read. I have chronic back pain and restless legs. I ordered the firm because some reviews said the mattress lost its firmness after time and they wish they would have ordered a firmer one. We have used this mattress for three weeks, and it is very firm but comfortable. I still wake up with back pain, maybe a little less, but still pain. I guess I was hoping that this mattress would be like a "miracle cure" for my back pain. My husband has noticed that he does not wake up like he used to when my legs start moving in the middle of the night. Neither one of us feels the other move. I am hoping over time that the mattress will lose some of its firmness and will help my relieve my pain. There was a slight odor when we unrolled the mattress but it was not too strong. Once I put the sheets and pillow on it was not noticeable at all. We had it for about 5 days before unrolling it (we had to wait for the bet to arrive as we ordered a king and previously had a queen.) It also rose to full to full size in about an hour. I bought deep pocket sheets, and they are a little big. When our comforter set arrives it will be interesting to see how the regular sheets fit. Overall I am very pleased with this mattress and am glad I made the purchase.
I read all of the reviews and debated over ordering medium or soft. I am a single 130 pound female who LOVED my 4" memory foam topper. I was upgrading bed size and decided to go all out and get the memory foam mattress instead. What I loved about the topper is the way you sink into it and it's so soft. So I decided to go with the soft firmness. It is not soft. The edges of the bed are great, but the closer you get to center the harder it gets. I would say it's a medium to firm. I guess that's the risk you take when ordering a mattress online. I have waited in out, I have owned the bed for 4 months and still no better. I'm really disappointed. I wish I had just gotten a cheap king mattress and gone with a topper. Now I can't even put a topper on it because it's 15" already and no sheets would fit over it if I added anything. It was a HUGE disappointment and now I'm stuck with a medium/firm bed. I'm not sleeping as well either. If you think you want a soft mattress do not order this one. I don't think the company is capable of keeping it consistent at the soft level.
