Don't be blinded by the price
I am a frustrated customer. First of all the bed came in great time and is definitely a two person job. Also, they have live assistance who will help you with questions as you put the bed together. Yet, one of the screws broke as we put the bed together (the wood was very difficult to get through on one side of the bed) and the screws we ordered were NEVER delivered. We went to the hardware store and bought our own screws and put the bed together. Then in the middle of the night I hear a CLUNK and look under the bed to see the middle support leg FELL OFF. The inside of the leg that screws on came off and the leg just fell of the bed. We ordered new legs and after 2 weeks of waiting they finally came and they were black instead of wood colored which was weird because the ones we had were wood colored so we thought we had had the wrong legs to begin with... WRONG. They sent us the wrong legs which we learned after we put them on and realized they were too BIG AND regardless one of those legs was broken! It wouldn't screw in all the way! SO my bed was wobbily and broken so we had to put the old (broken) legs back on the bed so that I have somewhere to sleep and I had to call yet again to get new legs to be delivered and just HOPE that these ones are the correct legs and are actualy usable! If I could go back in time I probably would not buy this bed. Save your time and spend a little more money and maybe get something that you can put together in one shot and have it for years. The wood is fantastic, you don't need a box spring (coming from a girl with metal rods in her back so you know I mean business) and the color is great but with all of these issues all in all it just doesn't seem worth it. The bed is nice...maybe you'll have better luck than me.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I read all the reviews before ordering this and felt confident that I had made a well-informed buy... I was so so wrong. First of all, I was missing a few parts. Secondly, one of the end boards didn't have threading AT ALL so I had to go and buy material to put in the hole to allow the screw to stay and tighten and then buy l brackets to ensure that it worked. Also, the center support rail was cracked when we took it out of the box and the 3 support posts that go down the middle were too short and didn't even touch the ground. Now we're going to have to buy a piece of plywood to place inside of it so we don't break all of the supports. I'm so upset about this, I could cry.

Broke the first night - DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY THIS BED. If I can save even one person from the night I've had, I'll feel a little better. The outside frame itself is fine, but the middle support is made of a wood a very soft and cheap wood, and the legs are not even long enough to touch the ground. The have supposedly adjustable feet, but that means unscrewing them from the wood, making the supports even more unstable. It's no wonder, then, that two of the legs cracked and split from their screws while my boyfriend and I were, um, being intimate the very first night in this new bed.(We weren't even being that athletic, either!) What should have been a nice time followed by sleep very suddenly was interrupted and the two of us had to strip the bed, take it apart and remove it from the bedroom so we could at least have the mattress on the floor. Now how am I supposed to return a 70-lb bed by mail? I have never been more dissatisfied with a purchase in my life and I'm honestly questioning a) why this product is so highly rated when so many others appear to have had the same problem and b) why Overstock would still sell something that is so shoddily made. I had planned to buy other furnishings from Overstock, but now I will look elsewhere.

Disappointed
I felt for the words "Scandinavia", "Materials: Solid Wood, Mixed Hardwoods" and "Sturdy design and construction" and learned my lesson of buying such things online. Material is just simple and cheap engineered wood and it broke in the first night with two people on it. Despite the reviews I did not choose the warranty and protection plan, so I am left with a expensive firewood. Overstock.com? Never again.

My Daughter Loves It!!
Got this as a Christmas present for my daughter. My wife was hesitant about ordering furniture online. After checking around town, we could not find anything that matched the quality, features and price. Love the fact that it's all solid wood. The finish is beautiful. Very minimalistic - but sturdy and functional. Also, got the mattress for this frame from Overstock - love it too!!!

Awesome bed frame!
We ordered the platform bed frame hoping it would give new life to our mattress that has seen better days. And we wanted to update the look of our bedroom. Both goals were achieved with great success. The 18 slats that fit in the frame, plus the center post with 3 additional legs, add tremendous support and make the mattress feel brand new. The platform looks great and the color is rich and deep, setting off the red and brown tones in the room. We couldn't be happier. Currently we are using the box spring and mattress on the platform so the bed sits a little high. When we get a new mattress that will be thicker than our current one, we'll get rid of the box spring and the height should be perfect.

Great Bed!!!
This bed is great! It was confusing to put together (luckily my boyfriend was there and we were able to get the whole thing together in around 35 minutes!!!) The adjustable feet on the middle board are great and the bed feels very sturdy. My boyfriend is 6'5" and weighs around 270lb and the bed holds us just fine!!! Great deal for the price!

NOT PARTICLE BOARD
I was very pleased when we got this and opened the box. My husband assumed, for the price, it would be made of particle board or pressed wood. He was stunned when he went to assemble it and went to line everything up. He kept apologizing for calling it a "cheap a#$" bed. Folks, let me just say, getting him to apologize is as easy as getting the legislature to agree on a budget. But for him to actually be impressed and COMPLIMENT a product is beyond rare. This bed is a wonderful purchase and I am so glad to be on it. The only thing I'd say is that because of the way the legs are placed (they are at the head of the bed) it leaves a two inch gap that your pillow can slide back between the wall and the frame. A little annoying at times but I just put an extra pillow in there and can put the other one up against it. So it works. But thanks, you guys, for making a product that satisfied my Prince of a guy. ;)
