I purchased this comforter with high hopes for envolping my supple body with satiney slipperiness. Instead, one side is like an uncomfortable dress shirt, and the other is remarkably similar to dry corn husks in both apperence and feel. I feel like an escaped convict sleeping in a barn loft when I lay down on it.

For this to be a satin comforter, it is not very silky. The backing on the comforter is softer than the satin. Nice comforter, but had I known it would feel this rough, I would not have bought it.

I ordered the king size toupe for my queen size bed. I usually order king since I like comforters to be over sized. If I had to do it over I would have ordered a queen because it is so larger and fluffly that it sollows my bed. I love it anyways and I have had it over a year now. I also thought the toupe was going to be a red brown, but my Mom told me that I just thought wrong because toupe is brown. The color is beautfiul and rich. I am very happy with the color and it gave me a good reason to order new sheets! I have it paired with Ivory sheets and Gold bed skirt and window sheers. It all looks very expensive for very cheap. As always it was delivered within a few days and I would recommed this product.

First thing, this comforter is sold for at least $70-$80 in the retail stores. And this looks really good once it goes over the mattress.
