functional light
I bought this light for the master bedroom. It shows the same as the picture. Easy to install and light-weight. The bottom ball is loose since the screw to attach it to the upper part is a little short.

The brass on this fixture is slightly lighter (less yellow in color) than a typical satin brass finish. I have a contemporary style home, but my dining room is traditional with furnishings that have brass accents. This fixture is the perfect blend between the contemporary and traditional. The quality appears to be good - no marks, chips, scratches anywhere. The installation is hard wired, so you need someone who knows how to connect the wires. The only drawback is that the alabaster glass for each light has to be properly leveled - this can take more than a few minutes. Overall a great product for the price and I highly recommend it.
