I got these sheets for one reason - the look.They are quite glamorous looking indeed - unfortunately they are not as comfortable as I had hoped.The point of satin sheets is that the sleek appearance translates into frictionless under-sheet movements - however these sheets are almost a bit sticky - not nearly as smooth & slippery as they appear.
im happy with my recent purchase of these satin sheets from overstock.com. the price was right, the shipping was high - in the end i suppose it probably worked out to a reasonable price still....quality seems fine for the price
Sheets are of excellent quality and value. Especially like the quality, will use in guest bedroom as special treat for guests as smooth silky touch. Purchased pink, lovely color.
I wanted satin sheets for the feel because I have sensitive skin. These sheets are great, the gold color is nice. Very smooth sheets. They are a bit slippery as is expected, and my duvet comforter always slips off and onto the ground at night. Some of it does not keep evenly, like where there is the most wear/movement it really appears to be more worn (such as around the head area on the fitted sheet) and only after a few days. All in all good sheets, though, even with the worn color, it still feels nice and smooth, none of it feels rough or snagged which is what I care about most. They do seem big, so if you have a thick mattress or topper, I think it would fit over all that -- my small mattress seems to be swimming in the fitted sheet. Excellent deal, nice feeling sheets.
