best sheets i have ever had. I read some of the reviews and was hesitant but trust me you wanna get these sheets. They look very nice and are so comfortable. When i first got them in the mail they were alittle rough. However, wash them 5 times within a weeks period with fabric softner and 3 dryer sheets. These sheets feel like your sleeping on a cloud. Great value! The reason why these sheets got some bad reviews is because noone gave them a chance. Give them a week or so and you will be set.
These are pretty much what you expect from 1000 tc sheets. If you haven't made the change to higher thread count sheets, the price on these is right. However, a couple extra pillow cases would be nice. It's difficult to get more matching ones when you order online.
DO NOT BUY unless you enjoy sleeping on rough patches of pilling fabric. I purchased these sheets and after 2 weeks of use they began pilling all over. This is usually indicative of synthetic fabrics, not 100% cotton. These sheets are defective and I do not believe that they are made from 100% cotton. Beware if you do buy them and have the same experience, OS only refunded me 1/2 of the purchase price due to the "condition" they were in... got to love the irony.
The set looks and feels good out of the package. I washed the sheets before first use and now they don't feel as soft. Perhaps I did not use enough fabric softener or they're just still too new and needs more washing. I bought another 800 TC sateen sheet set from elsewhere and they feel same way after first wash. I am optimistic the softness will come back after several more washing. I like it all the same.
