The bedding set I received was the color I saw on the website. It was soft, durable and the stitching around the pockets fit my deep mattress perfectly. However, when I unzipped the package it arrived in, I was hit with the worst plastic off-gassing smell. The smell was stronger than a vinyl shower curtain- unlike anything I have smelled before. The bedding was drenched with that smell. It took eight washes, before the smell was bearable. That's why I said it was durable. I washed it on a high cycle and the fabric was not frayed or faded. If you are sensitive to smells and your product arrives the way mine did, you'll have to wash it many times until you feel comfortable with the smell. Aside from that, the bed set is wonderful.
I like the sheets and would recommend them for all.
I have had these sheets for almost a month and they are fantastic! I only buy Egyptian Cotton sheets now because they are so soft and do not pill like other fabrics. These are a great value and are so comfortable. The color (blue) is also perfect. I would recommend these sheets to everyone.
They come out of the washer/dryer too wrinkled and I had to iron them.Fabric is soft and comfortable and the color was good.Will try a higher thread count next time and hope for no wrinkles.
I was hoping that these sheets were going to be very soft and smooth. Upon receipt of the sheets, they did feel soft but a little starchy. After washing the sheets, I was hoping it would feel nice and smooth w/the starchy feeling washed out - however, that was not the case. The sheets still feel starchy and not very comfortable. Disappointing and will not be buying these again. Isn't sateen supposed to feel nice and smooth?
