These sheets are exceptionally smooth, but just as a lot of other's have commented on, they are quite thick (stiff). I had been sleeping on the cheapest, most worn out sheets known to man before this purchase, so it was a big change to go to over night. I did purchase a pillow top mattress pad, which made a big difference. The first two nights I slept with the combination, I ended up sleeping for 11+ hours. Good thing it was the weekend, and not during the workweek. I would like to say that the other people who have written reviews complaining about the thickness are not wrong, these sheets are heavy, but after only about 6 washings they are starting to "loosen up" a bit. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I would purchase again. However, before I would purchase another set from the same manufacturer, I would like to purchase some different ones just to compare.
I loved these sheets! They are very durable, soft, comfortable, easy to put on, not to big not to small for a Queen size bed. I will definately order another set the next time I need one!
This set of sheets is first class. The material is plush, thick and cool to the touch. It is also warm like a light weight coverlet. They wash beautifully. No shrinking. A pleasure to sleep on. We are truly pleased and plan to buy more of this product.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the heavy weight of these sheets. I expected the 1000 count to mean soft and supple, not thick. Perhaps with multiple washings they will improve.
