I searched for about 6 weeks for stainless flatware to replace a set that I had used for 40 years! The set was still quite serviceable, but I wanted a change for the next 40. Since it had been 40 years since I had searched for such a thing, I had much to learn. I went to stores to actually feel the different "levels" of stainless. I found that that 18/0, despite claims to the contrary, were light and seemed as if they would easily bend in my hands. I found that some of the flatware labeled 18/10 was really 18/8 and that actually seemed to make a difference that was greater than I would have expected. When I handled the 18/10 stainless in the stores they all felt good (solid and serviceable), but more than twice as expensive as what can be found here here.
I am thrilled with design of this set. Both my husband I enjoy using them for our meals as the flatware is elegant and fits the hand well.
Great price. Magnificent pattern. I highly recommend going with the 18/10 and this pattern in particular.
