I thought I would have to buy a box spring that was not so high, but a regular box spring and mattress does the trick. I love that I can just tuck in my comforter on the side so easily. Very nice height all together.Read More
Bought this for my teenage daughter who had a hand in choosing this bed. The two of us set the bed up in about 30 minutes if that long, if it was longer it was because she had to stop to get her phone. Love this Bed, we both do. Where else can you get a bed delivered to your door that you can put together in 30 minutes for that price? I am thinking no where. Great quality great look.Read More
I love this bed; it's a beautiful high quality piece. It's so soft with ample padding and style; I may need to purchase one for my queen size bed someday, but for now I purchased the full size chocolate color for one of my guessed rooms. I got my eye on the Taupe color as well. Thanks Overstock.com.Read More
A few problem with assembly. There weren't as many washers as were needed with the screws to put it together. Had to go out and buy some. The slats in the bed are not very wide - about as wide as my hand - and have black plastic legs/feet that go between the slats and the floor to help hold things up but since the slats are narrow and I didn't plan on using a boxspring we decided to use a large piece of plywood from my old bed to offer the mattress support. Other than these simple problems the bed is very nice. The fabric is very soft and a nice dark chocolate color. It's sturdy and fits my new mattress nicely. If you don't use a boxspring (as pictured) it will be a little lower than your average bed but I don't consider this a problem at all.Read More

Is this a platform bed or can it be used with a boxspring?
This is a platform bed and it is usually not used with a boxspring because it will raise up the mattress to high for the profile of the headboard.
