i just bought this garden today and the water won't come out I was thinking that maybe i was doing something wrong but since i read the reviews i think i am going to take it back.

I didnt like this item because it was made of all plastic (with the exception of the rocks). For the price it cost you can find much better watergardens/fountains that are made of stone or some other natural material. It takes batteries and which died on me twice already with minimal use and it just looks cheap and doesnt do anything to enhance the decor. Also the water doesnt flow through like it should and the pump is loud. If I hadnt thrown the box away I would have sent it back.

Had the pump worked, which it did not, I would have rated the Step Garden a 3-star overall. Yes, it is plastic, not real slate, but it looks good. The LED light is actually nice, as in the photos. But the pump was too loud for a tabletop, and had it pushed the water along, the sound of the pump would be louder than the nice sound of water.

It really drains batteries quickely. Also it shuts itself off after a few hrs. Then after being turned off for a few hrs., it will work again.

This thing is a total waste. It uses up 2 AA battery every day. I have to change NEW battery every day and then the next morning it is dead again. If you like to put 2 battery every day, it's your choice. I give up!
