this pillow is not one piece of memory foam...it's more like layers of memory foam...but it still works and is comfortable. it's a good value for the price and it's pretty long so i have no problems using it to have my arm and leg raised. i bought this for, and it works well as, a pregnancy pillow.

The Sarah Peyton Memory Foam body pillow advertises that "it features temperature sensitive technology" which is the reason I purchased it. I don't know what the manufacturer meant by that statement but I thought it meant that the pillow would not create a heat dome over your arms and legs as you slept. So not true! Woke up with my legs and my nightgown damp from perspiration...the pillow is like a giant insulating mass of foam! Definately not a pillow to use in the summer, however it will probably replace my quilt in the winter and keep me toasty warm! Very dissatisfied!

I ordered two of these to try out as body pillows. They turned out to be exceptional. Good quality foam dense and molded nicely. I do not use them for a head pillow but rather as a body pillow that I prop my log up on when I sleep and they keep my leg lifted but still sink in a little to form fit and they feel very comfortable. I liked them so much I ordered Two more to use on my big couch as back supports hugging pillows while watching TV. Very pleased with the product and it's construction materials and a good price.

In my opinion if you need a body pillow for medical reason this is the one to buy. The memory foam gives you the support you need without the ridged uncomfortable feeling that goes along with others.

This product was purchased to shore up the space between our headboard and Sleep Number Mattress. We kept losing our pillows and tissue box into the abyss. When this came I thought it was not as big as the specifications in the description; however, it can be molded and in our case we needed a cylinder. It has worked perfectly and also can be used to prop up the regular pillows when reading in bed.. I am really happy with the purchase.

Bottom line...I hate this thing. I didn't realize that it's made of what appears to be pieces of memory foam, not a solid piece. As a result not only is it heavy (which I anticipated) but it became misshapen the very first night I used it. I bought this to replace an old, cheap, fiberfill body pillow but I believe I will go back to using that one. This was a major disappointment. Don't waste your money.

When you get this pillow it's about 1/2 thick...give it 3 days to expand and you have an amazing pillow! Great for placing between between knees and holding!

Great memory foam pillow, very firm and supportive especially compared to the usual squishy body pillows out there. Also extra long compared to many other memory foam body pillows out there. Superb value for money !When it first arrived, I was very disappointed. It didn't inflate even after a week and I had to send it back for a replacement. The second one looked kind of lumpy after it inflated, and I thought I'd have to return it again.... but after one night's sleep, I was completely sold !! I am now getting better sleep, without waking in the morning with lower back / hip aches ....

As other reviewers stated, this pillow is quite heavy and takes the full 72 hours to decompress when received. It provides outstanding support for those of us with back and hip issues. One thing to note: IT IS NOT A SOLID PIECE OF MEMORY FOAM which is not stated in the description. It is chunks of memory foam inside the covering which is why it doesn't make you get as warm as standard memory foam does - more air can circulate through and around the pieces as opposed to getting through a dense piece of foam. What it DOES state in the description is that the pillow is 11" thick - no it is not, thankfully. The zippered cover that comes with it is very soft and gets softer after it's washed (which I did before using it even though I have a body pillow pillowcase over it). My initial disappointment with its not being a solid piece of foam was short-lived after using it last night for the first time. I am extremely satisfied with this pillow and slept like a baby with no back or hip pain during the night or upon waking. If you're looking for a pillow that is more substantial and won't flatten like a pancake in a hurry, this is the solution!

It took a LONG time to get here - but it was worth the wait!!! It came completely flat and the kids enjoyed watching it puff up as the day progressed. I couldn't wait to try it out - I have a lot of back pain and I need a body pillow to keep between my legs so my back doesn't hurt quite as much. I have a memory foam regular pillow and figured that the memory foam body pillow would give me the support that I need - the ones I get from other stores are so soft and go flat in no time. I read the reviews where some others said it was too firm and I figured it was probably just what I was looking for. I LOVE the memory foam body pillow - it gives me plenty of support and keeps my leg elevated and my back in line so that I can sleep comfortably. The only down thing is that it is heavy and when I want to turn over it takes a bit of effort to move it to the other side of the bed! But a small price to pay for the comfort it provides!!!! I got one for my brother to give to him for Christmas, he likes them too....I would definitely recommend it for those who don't want a soft squishy body pillow - those who want some actual support. It is wonderful!!!!

I purchased this pillow in hopes of relieving my hip pain. Mission accomplised. The firmness is a plus because the pillow doesn't loose its structure overnight, yet it is soft to the touch. Great purchase.

I like everything about the pillow except the weight of it. But that is easy to overlook because of the comfort it provides. I used to use two comforters and multiple pillows to try to get comfortable. Now I just use the body pillow and the memory foam head pillow and I sleep comfortably and sound. Best thing I could've done for myself. Wish I did it a long time ago.

I am a physical therapist & I bought this as a gift for a friend with arthritis. She usually sleeps on her side but would wake with pain because the top shoulder rolled forward. This pillow supports the top arm, plus it can be used between the knees for extra comfort. She loved it, as did everyone else at the party. Appeared very well made. She wrote a thank you and said she was waking without pain for a change. I would recommend using / buying / making a pillowcase for this, though. Appeared well made & durable.

Not a bad product for the price. The distribution and composition of the material is a bit inconsistent causing clumps at times in some areas. I have a different body pillow that I purchased years ago for three times the price which is far superior in comparison. Nevertheless, for the price, this does an adequate job of providing support and alleviating pressure points.

Love this body pillow. I have bought traditional ones before but they don't provide all that much support, and although they are soft they don't conform to your body. They also lose their loft pretty quickly. This body pillow is thick enough to really support your arm and leg (if you sleep on your side like I do), but also lets you sink into it, which is super-comfortable. I previously bought a Tempur-pedic mattress and ended up returning it because it was too firm for me, so I do relate to that problem, but to me this pillow has plenty of "give". I received it yesterday (3 days after ordering) and used it last night, and I swear I slept more soundly than I have in a long time. I think the comfort (feeling no pressure, as if you're floating) helped keep me from waking up often, which I usually have trouble with. Definitely recommended.

I love this pillow this is exactly what I've been looking for. It's nice and firm and I'm so glad that other reviewers complained about how firm it was or I would have never bought it. The problem with so many of the body pillows out there today is that they aren't firm, and that they are so flimsy and soft that they don't maintain the weight of your leg on them, I hurt my back several years ago and I sleep on my side so I need my hip to stay in a neutral position when I sleep if it's too soft my hip rotates forward not good for my back. I am THRILLED that this pillow is nice and firm. Thanks to all the reviewers that complained of the firmness.
