This would be a great little fountain, except all I hear is the sound of the motor, which is very distracting and annoying. It has plenty of water in it, so not really sure why the motor is so loud. I can't hear the water at all and end up turning it off. Additionally, there isn't enough rocks, but I could over look that.

I hear the noise of the pump, therefore I do not hear the smoothing sound of water flowing. If someone knows why the pump overpowers the sound of flowing water, please let me know. Thanks

Bought the package of 4 for gifts, but kept one for me. Has to be set on very flat surface, but even then the one I kept only drips water on one side. Takes a bit more water than directions state. Candles are very pretty.

Oh this is a neat water fountain! The LED lights look like real candle flames and the fountain makes a nice, soothing sound. I was a little confused about where "the reservoir" was in which the water goes- underneath the display or actually down in the candle? Anyway, I got it going and it's just lovely. These would make neat, affordable gifts for Christmas or special occasions.

I had intended to get one for my mom and my sister but after receiving them, I ordered 4 more for everyone on my Christmas list.The fountain is small and battery run so it fits anywhere. No splash. No irritating motor sounds.The drawbacks are 1. not enough rocks and 2. no "water noise". I like hearing the gurgling of fountains.But the pluses overran the minuses for me.
