I received a Sarah Peyton Home cordless fountain as a gift. It does not work. It has new batteries. It has clean water. It does not flow. There is no way of telling if the pump is functioning or not. Is the hose connected to the pump? I do not know. The fountain just sits there with no sound or drip or anything. I am greatly disappointed because this is something I have wanted for a long time. The instructions for returning the item and getting a replacement are unclear. I could not find a return address

Piece of Chinese-made junk. Loud motor, bad chemical smell coming from the carcinogenic materials, warned about on box! How could anyone sell this in good conscience?

I love this fountain - - it's very nice and really adds on to my nature-themed room "project". The motor is a little over the top, but somehow I like the sound of it. If you rearrange the rocks a certain way under the second fountain (The fountain with the two pools), then you really can get that water sound. It's a lot easier to hear now that I've done it. I put it on a little side table next to my "lounging chair" and it looks great along with my lamp and flower pot. I would recommend this to anyone!

It's light, pretty, and portable but the last thing it is is relaxing. The motor is heard above the running water, and the motor keeps at a fast uneven pace, not the best thing to use for meditation.

It looks great. It was just smaller than I was expecting.

after reading some of the reviews i was alittle apprehensive about ordering the fountain so for the price i wasn't expecting much. i was pleasently surprised to see the units are fairly well made, the pumps work fine and aren't to noisy and i feel sarah peytons fountains are a good value. i was also quite pleased with overstocks confermations, quick shipment and delivery of my order.the only draw back to the units is the batteries are in the bottom of the unit which is also the water reservoir, so when you have to change the batteries you have to turn the unit upside down.p.s... do it over the sink...overall quite pleased with my purchase and overstock.com

It would be very nice if you didn't hear the motor over the sound of the water. Also, mine came with 5 tiny pebbles that just make it look even cheaper that what it actually is.

This fountain is small but cute. The only problem with it is that the noise from the motor drowns out the noise from the water! Too bad because it fits just about anywhere.

the fountain was very reasonably priced and looked great works and looks better than what i payed.

Received these and they're ok. They do their job and the fountains look nice on a nice granit counter or table top. Fountain aspect was nice-- i liked the soothing sounds of the water. I wouldn't leave it running for a long time because you may suck the battery, but other than that, for the price, i was satisfied.
