Great value
I've slept on a Tempurpedic mattress for seven years. I bought this less expensive version for my granddaughter who will soon start college. It arrived in the afternoon, so it was out of the package for about 7 hours before its first use. I have many chemical sensitivities, and was concerned about any odor that might be leeched by the materials used to make it. I really didn't notice an odor at that time. I actually slept on it the first two nights. During the first night when my face was so close to it, I did smell a slight chemical smell, and had a headache the next morning. The second night's sleep was wonderful...no odors and so comfortable. This mattress is softer than my Tempurpedic, but very comfortable. My granddaughter is extremely happy I bought this for her. I read all the reviews for this product, because of my allergies and chemical sensitivities. I am very happy with my purchase and can honestly recommend it to anyone looking for a great mattress buy.

Soft but smelly
I had to let the mattress air out for about a week. The chemical smell was very strong, I suggest taking off the cover sheet it comes in the second you get it and letting the bare foam air out for a few days. The mattress is also a bit heavy. When I would come home, the whole room would smell of the mattress until I opened a window. Once most of the smell wore off I finally slept on it. It's comfortable, but it takes a while for the foam to regain its shape, so if you move out of the grove that your body has made in the mattress it feels like you're trying to sleep on a slanted mattress, until that part comforms to your body too. But I do get a good nights rest, and it is comfortable. I don't think it feels any cooler than a regular mattress, but I still like it overall.

Dream come true
I used to wake up in the middle of the night every night. The first night with this mattress I kid you not, I slept the WHOLE night. I couldn't believe it! Every night now I get REAL sleep, not that half sleep stuff.

Doesn't last!
This mattress sounded like a great deal. I did a lot of comparing with other memory foam mattress's and thought this one was good quality but it didn't take very long before it "mushed down" on the area where my daughter lays on it the most. She has had it a little over a year and it really needs to be replaced already because it is so soft and . . . I really can't think of a better word than "mushed", no structure/density left. My advice to anyone else would be to skip this mattress and spend a little more for a higher- end, better quality mattress that will actually last.

Love it
I ordered this mattress for my 5 yo lil girl. It came within about 5 days of ordering and we unrolled it and it was about half its size instantly an within a matter of a few hours was completly at full compacity. We waited three days to unroll cause we had to move other furniture out to bring the new in and absolutely no problems. an no chemical smell either. My daughter loves her new, bed , quality prouduct at a GREAT price!!!!!!!
