I read the bad reviews about this set, but i still ordered and luckily I did, it looks great on my glass coffee table as an accent. All the candles are working, and it is so cool coz u can blow it if you want to put the light on and off.I love this and recommend to others.The holder looks ordinary but not really bad.

Received in a timely manner, of course with Overstock that is to be expected. The candles worked as advertised including the blowing on and off feature (which I wasn't aware of when I ordered this item). There are plenty of river stones to cover the base when the candles are in place. The item is well worth the cost.

Don't waste your hard-earned money.These candles are a disappointment. Only 1 worked and even that one didn't turn on or off with blowing. Since I usually buy great products from Overstock, my husband threw the box away immediately so I don't know if I can return it.

I HAVE HAD THE CANDLES FOR THREE WEEKS AND ONE DOES NOT WORK. WE HAVE PUT IN NEW BATTERIES. STILL DOES NOT WORK. I purchased the flameless candles, as a gift for my daughter. They are beautiful and she loved them. The price was unbelievably reasonable. Service was quick and delivery was fast. Thank you

I ordered one of these to see if we could use it for wedding reception centerpieces before I ordered 25. It looked okay, but the white candles had a yellow glow thru them when turned on. There really wasn't anything wrong with the product, it was just too plain for a centerpiece.

I love candles, but am always worried about leaving them burning when I fall asleep or leave the house. This set is great! The candles look real and act real (you blow them out to turn them off!). The plate and rocks are decent quality and it looks nice all put together. The candels even have a hint of scent to them, so they seem even more real. I love this set and plan to buy more for gifts for my friends.

The candles look a little fake, and are pretty much impossible to operate. Luckily I didn't buy them to turn on, but just to look like candles, which they do. It works well for where I bought it.

I got this for my house and thought they complemented my house completely! I love the ease of use and for the price...I was very happy with the purchase!

This product performed poorly. After only about 10 hours of burning, the batteries went dead. Plus, the blow on and blow off feature wasn't worth the trouble. Sometimes I couldn't get it to go on, only to find hours later that it activated itself. Overall, I think I will throw away the battery operated candles and put real ones in. Not what I wanted at all.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS ITEM AND WAS NOT TOTALLY HAPPY WITH IT, THE BATTERIES ARE NOT THAT GREAT AND EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO STAY ON, ALSO WHEN I TRIED TO FIX THE BATTERY THE SPRING POPPED OFF. ALSO THIS MAKES ME THINK TWICE BEFORE I ORDER ANOTHER ITEM.

I was very skeptical about buying these candles after reading some reviews, but I decided to try them out for myself because I like the fact that they're flameless. I have cats who love to jump on table tops and couches and end up knocking things over all the time. I've always loved the look of candles, but couldn't take the risk. But when I got these, I was very pleased. They're pretty and flicker like real candles! I didn't have any problems with these and my guests have thought they were very ingenius! I love them!

Well, I'm disappointed in what was my first Overstock purchase. The candle set arrived and i was all excited to put it together and see what it looked like. So i turned the candles on one by one and however not all of the candles worked. The big one just wouldnt turn on. I put new battery in it but no luck. So i hit the bottom thinking that might make it turn on but nope. I should have listened to the other reviews but i was hoping mine was diff. So i prob wont be ordering anything offline again.

The item is small and does not remain lit. Difficult to assemble, and get started. Lights flicker, but go out after a short time.

Unfortunately, I experienced the same problems the two reviewers below me did. One of the candles does not light at all. I tried changing the battery, and nothing. I paid $3 for shipping; will not waste another $3 to ship back, so I guess I'm stuck with it. It's ok looking otherwise, but I would not have purchased this had I heeded the advice of the previous reviewers!

Well, I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed in what was my first Overstock purchase. The candle set arrived and looked nice once I put it together, however, not all of the candles worked. Assumed this was due to dead batteries. Fortunately I happened to have extras of these special button cell batteries on hand. Replaced said batteries, and one of the candles STILL didn't work, so I believe it's a dud. One of the other candles "burns" very dimly and one works OK. So overall, it looks OK sitting there UNLIT, but forget about turning them on, which defeats the whole purpose of this candle set. Also, the candles were advertised to have an interesting feature where you blow on them to turn them on and off. This sounded novel, until you actually see the candle - the top of each candle has an unattractive black hole/sensor thing which serves this purpose. If you're displaying the candles above eye level, say on a shelf or mantel, it's not a problem, but if they're below eye level on a table, they just look odd. The set seemed like a good deal, as I have seen just one candle being sold for what this whole set sold for, but I am now reminded of the old "you get what you pay for!"

The candle set is convenient as it is very safe with a flameless candle. However, the candles are very dim and when I first recieved the candles only two worked. I had to bang the bottom of the third to get it started. Very nice peice for the price.

I liked this- it is a great addition to my coffee table. My dogs won't mess with it, and it is safer than the real thing and won't burn their wagging tails. It looks nice, it is a conversation piece, and the flickering light looks like real candle when the lights are low. It might look better on a shelf, so you can't see into the top. The only complaint I have is that the battery didn't last very long when I got it.
