Only got to use it for a few hours -though it looks nice without turning on the "candles," I mainly bought it to have them lit so I'd have to say pass on this unless you have alternate light up candles that could replace the originals.

It was the absolute perfect house warming gift andcan be used inside or out.

This is quite nice looking and the flameless candles do work well. You can blow them on or off. Not sure how long the batteries will last but the candles are impregnated with an artificial scent which does not resemble anything in nature. It is cloying to the point that it irritated my throat, then ears. I am sensitive to perfumes but there was nothing on the box to suggest any part of this product was scented. Had i known, i would not have bought it tho some might be perfectly happy with it.
