    • Wood looks like composite-plastic

      The description should have been more specific as to the kind of materials used. From a distance the bed looks nice. Once you approach it the wood looks and feels totally fake, like a plastic or composite. I paid a lot of money for it, and although I didn't expect 100% cherry wood, I absolutely did not expect for it to look and feel like plastic. The price is too high for the quality of the product. I wish I could return it but I needed the bed right away.

    • For the price, this sleigh bed cannot be beat. The all wood construction makes it look more like an hierloom peice rather than the press board version sold at most department stores. It has a dark cherry finish that still allows the natural wood grain to show through.
