This was my first purchase with Overstock.com. I had found these dishes on another website and googled it to see about finding a better price. Overstock came up and I got a much better deal, saved almost $100...no kidding. Easy to order, shipping was fast and dishes were packed really well. Can't complain about anything. Am happy with dishes...just enough color and design so not to look boring but not so much that it distracts from the important stuff...what you put on your plate. Quality is great they are sturdy and look just as good as the picture, if not better.

I've been looking for an everyday set of dishes and have been very disappointed, until now. The plates are good sized and durable. My kids rotate on who does the dishes so I'm always worried about the durablity but I haven't even seen a chip in 4 months, a record for my family. They are subtle which allows me to dress them up with my linens and food. The bowls are HUGE! I have 3 teenagers and with my other dishes they were going back for 2nd and 3rds with cerel, soup, etc. With these they can barely finish a single bowl, it's awesome. The mugs are perfect for a decent size cup of tea, coffee, or hot cocoa. As for microwaving in them, I have yet to get them hot enough that they are difficult to handle. Always an issue with kids. With my other dishes they would put their food on the plate/bowl, pop it into the microwave for a minute or two and have to leave them in the microwave for 5 minutes to let the dishes cool down enough to handle, not an issue with these. I would, and have, recommend these dishes to family and friends.

The color is a lovely, soft beige. The entire set is generously sized and I loved the large bowls.....absolutely perfect for serving pasta, salad as a main course or anything requiring extra space to serve. The bowls alone are good enough reason to order this set. Microwaving is not a problem for this set. No overheating problems of any kind. Loved these.

This is a nice affordable set, substantial in weight and size for sure. The bowls are labeled as soup bowls and are actually huge, we will have to have other smaller bowls for things like cereal. The consistency of the color is the issue that I have, my displeasure.. we ordered three sets to make a twelve piece place setting, and there was a lot of variation from box to box, with one set more white in color and more glazed, and the other two sets more beige with less glaze and with the lines in the design showing more distinctly. It is very noticeable when pieces from the three sets are placed side by side. I know that they are hand made and there will be some variation, but if this bothers you, be cautious if you plan to order multiple sets. Regarding color, none of these dishes are actually white.

Heavy and sturdy...delicate looking, but durable...pretty enough for holiday meals but casual enough for everyday use. Appear darker in person than picture

I bought 2 sets as a college graduation gift for a friend's daughter moving out of state to attend grad school. My friend was very excited by my choice (emailed the confirmation) and when they arrived she said they gave just the look and style wanted for her daughter's first apartment.

Love these dishes! They are more creamy than white, and I really like the design. They are unique while still being neutral, and neutral without being boring. The dinner plates are huge and the flower design only completes itself in the middle of the salad plates. On the rest of the dishes, they are just ridges that flatten out towards the middle of each dish... I only wish that the bowls were deeper and narrower. These are way to shallow and wide for cereal or ice cream!

The set is just as it is represented on the website. Comments of other purchasers tipped me off that the bowls are very large. This is true. I wish they were smaller. Can't imagine what the manufacturer was thinking but we will buy some fun smaller bowls to coordinate with the set. The savings and quality are worth this small sacrifice. The set arrived promptly and was very well packed so there was no breakage. I was impressed.

I like these dishes. The bowls are quite large; good for soup, pasta, stews. A little large for a side salad however. They are much lighter in weight than other Sango products I've purchased. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and the price was great!!!

I looked for some time trying to find dishes that would be used for every day and company as well. Neutral in color, they work well with several different table settings. I am very pleased with them.

Just took to the beach house. I have not used them yet but they were all intact when I unpacked them. They are very pretty and look just like the picture.

I ordered three sets of these and was very pleased with the quality for the price. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the dinner plate. I does not have the full swirl pattern that is pictured on the smaller plate. The pattern is only on the edges. I guess that makes the plate wear better though. The bowls are large! Would definitely recommend!

I am basically happy with these dishes - a few dark spots and imperfections in the glaze. And I wish they were made in the USA!!!!
