I have purchased several sets of this in the cranberry and the cream colors. The cranberry seems to hold up much better. The cream develops dark marks on it from use. However, I did find that if I lightly rub them with a non-abrasive bleach cleaner and wet towel, the marks disappear (so at least they are only superficial marks).

The plates scratch horrible when simply cutting your food. The only way to remove the scratches is to hand wash with soft scrub or a cleanser. If you don't mind hand washing your dishes than their not bad for the price.

Great everyday dishes! Little heavy than I thought they'd be, but I still like them. You can put the plate in the oven for a short while to melt cheese or other topping; but be careful.... not too long! Of course you can microwave in them and put them in the dishwasher.

I love this set! It arrived in great condition and fast delivery! The cups are made with a larger bottom so very stable (not easy tipped over). The rim around the edge adds character. I've had lots of compliments on them.

These are gorgeous! Much better than I expected and the perfect classy finishing touch to my kitchen. They actually dishes are slightly darker than I expected, since the picture appeared almost white on my screen instead of cream. I'd say the actually color is closer to mushroom, but the color is definitely nice and the stone-like border was much nicer than I expected. All pieces are also oversized and the plates are deep, so your food will stay on your plate ... even if you choose to eat in front of the tv! I've had them for a few weeks now, and they've held up well in both the dishwasher and microwave and seem to be chip-resistant. Everything was well packed and arrived much sooner than I expected, within a few days. Thank you, Overstock!!

Purchased three sets of these dishes and have received numerous compliments. My daughter liked them so much she bought some for her home as well.

I was so anxious to get my new dishes. They were well worth the short wait. I couldn't believe how well packed they were (thanks O!), not 1 chip in either of the boxes I ordered. These dishes are perfect for any place setting whether it be casual to semi-formal. The plates are deep so food does not slide off the edges and the bowls are a good size for a casual dinner salad. The coffee cups are not my favorite shape, but I didn't order the place setting for those anyway. I don't think you will be disappointed. If you liked the picture, they are exactly as they look.

I purchased two sets of the Rustic Cream dinnerware and the 5 pc completer set, all of which I am extremely pleased with. When I was ordering, I was disappointed that the Rustic Cream did not have Salt & Pepper shakers. However, I did notice that the Sango Contrast Brown did have S&P shakers and that the brown looked to be the same, so I ordered the hostess set. Was I surprised to see how well they match the Rustic Cream dinnerware; the brown is exactly the same and the cream is just a tad darker. I am sure that no one will ever notice that they are from a different set. Even the butter dish, which was part of the hostess set is all brown and matches well. I am a fanatic for things having to match, so if I am pleased, I am sure that you will be too. Great service Overstock.com!

very nice dishes. Great pattern for a western or rustic motiff. Gave these to my sister for christmas and she loved them, will be buying more for her birthday. Great price and a quality product.

LOVE this set! I bought 3 sets of the cream color (so I had 12 servings all together) and one of the completer sets. This set is beautiful! The textured border around the dinnerware is even prettier in person than in the photos. It is a nice sturdy weight, and the dinner plates are "deep". I was very impressed with how well Overstock packed everything, and there was no breakage at all in anything I received. The only thing I noticed that was a slight negative was that the border areas on the plates/bowls/cups (the textured area) was "messy" on some of the dinnerware. The darker paint extended beyond where the border should end on some of the dinnerware. It wasn't super noticeable, though, and didn't happen on every piece in the set. I received free shipping on my order, which was wonderful!!!!! These items are heavy and would've cost a fortune to ship. Thanks Overstock for a great product!!

My fiance and I spent what seems like months trying to find dinnerware that met both of our criteria: matching the kitchen decor I love and providing a clean slate for him to plate his culinary masterpieces. As soon as I saw these, I knew we had found "the one." Because of the great cost of shipping, I went ahead and bought 2 settings, which has turned out to be a life-saver! The packages arrived a little scary looking (damaged outter box, etc), but the actual box containing the plates was just fine and all of the dinnerware was in perfect shape. We are so very happy with the price, quality, and aesthetic of this purchase!!!

The dishes were delivered in a timely manner; packing was excellent. They seem a bit heavy compared to what I expected, but otherwise, they are a good set of dishes for everyday use.

These dishes were just what I expected. They were nice and heavy duty. I am very pleased.

These dishes are a gorgeous color,came well packaged, and have held up well in the dishwasher. One plate even fell on my slate tile floor and didn't break. My only complaint is they are closer in weight to china rather than stonewear, and I like dishes to be somewhat heavier and more substantial for everyday use.

This place setting is unique and was loved by my mother. We were replacing an old set and this was a good fit. She loved the uniqueness of the textured border. The mugs are nice too, although my father was concerned because they are larger that his coffee would get cold before he consumed it. I thought they were great and didn't have any problem with cold coffee. Maybe I drink it faster. :-)

Final shipping boxes were coming apart.They needed to be secured much better than they were. Other than that everything seemed satisfactory.

I searched and ordered three different sets of dishes and returned each set that I received until I received these. The band around each piece looked as if they might be rough on the edges, but they are not and I love the overall weight and feel of these dishes, especially the coffee mugs. They are simple, yet elegant and work well for any type of gathering whether formal or casual. You can tell these are quality dishes by there smooth finish. They arrived in perfect condition and fit well into our cabinets. I would recommend them to any one.

I ordered two sets, one cream, one cranberry. They arrived within a week in good condition wth no breakage. The cream is very nice but I LOVE the cranberry color. Together the colors match my decor perfectly and make a nice, homey, table setting. I do think they might be a little overpriced for a four place setting that is for everyday use. The coffee mugs are perfect. You can carry them around without coffee sloshing over the edges and they stack well in the cabinet. I would buy more to make a set for 12, but I'll definetly wait to see if the price goes down first.
