I have been looking for a new set of dishes for several years and just couldn't find what I was looking for. A friend recommended Overstock.com, so I started looking there. When I found the Sango Rustic Cranberry dishes, I knew these would be the dishes for me, if only they were really that color and looked as good in real life as they did in the photo. I chatted online with an Overstock employee regarding the color, and she assured my they would be very close to the color I was seeing on the site. It also helped a lot in determining the true color to see fruit displayed with the dishes. I finally bit the bullet and ordered four sets, plus the completer set and held my breath until they arrived. First of all, I was pleased with the price I paid (which can fluctuate) and the short amount of time that it took for them to arrive, and not a single piece was broken. Secondly, I was so very excited to see that the dishes were even more beautiful than in the picture, and the color was just a litter more red than what the picture showed, which made them even more compatible with the colors I have in my kitchen. They have a casual, rustic, everyday feel, and yet they are classy and fun. My husband was impressed with them and my sons all think they are cool. They have a sturdy feel, and wash up well in the dishwasher, as well as working well in the microwave. The only gripe I would have is that a couple pieces had thin coats of color, which made them a little lighter than the others and there were a few small flaws (cosmetic only) in a few pieces. But then again, we are all human, and nothing is absolutely perfect :) However, I would recommend these dishes to a friend and will definitely shop on Overstock.com again.
