I ordered 2 sets of these dishes, and they're perfect. The reviewer who stated that the serving pieces aren't available is right. I actually contacted Sango, and they advised me that they never made the serving pieces for this design. HOWEVER, the Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne style of dishes, which date back to the 70's, coordinate perfectly with these dishes. I have purchased on ***** all of the coordinating serving pieces, salt & pepper, etc., in the Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne design. And I got them all at a very low cost on *****. I found every type & size of of serving and coordinating piece. They go with these dishes as if they were made for them! Buy these, you won't be sorry. Then go onto ***** and search for Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne.

I ordered two sets (affordable at this low price) of these to replace my 30-year old Royal Doulton stoneware set (received then as a wedding gift). Two plates in one set arrived shattered (in spite of being in the middle of a carefully packed box), but OverStock quickly sent replacement plates. The dishes are heavier/more substantial and the color is a deeper/prettier blue than I had expected. The plates fit perfectly in the cupboard, microwave, and dishwasher. The bowls are too large for my taste - and take over the dishwasher. For now I'm also using my old bowls (which actually match in color) but will later swap them out for multicolor bowls. The mugs are nice - although larger than the old mugs, they're perfect for a 12-ounce cup of coffee. And they feel good in your hand. Hopefully these wonderful dishes will last me another 30 years.

I bought these for my new home and when they arrived I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality & weight of them. They are sturdy, yet very classic. The texture was a welcome surprise and the eating surface is very large, which my family loves. This is another product that will keep me coming back to O.com!

I am very please with my new dishes. The color is beautiful, and matches perfectly to my decor. The dinner plates are large and can even be used as a serving plate. Bowls are perfect size. The quality is very good, dishes are heavy. Dishwash very well. Thank you Overstock! I ordered 4 quantities, and unfortuanately 2 sets had broken dinner plates in them. Overstock replaced the dishes very quickly, and even sent me 2 full sets instead of just replacement dishes. I am thrilled with this purchase! Super fast shipping as always!

Arrived quickly, was well packed, looks GREAT! Excellent quality. My only regret is that they don't offer serving plates to go with it!

Ordered 2 - 16 peice sets of dinnerware...arrived in the time stated. All dishes were in tact except for 1 dinner plate that was cracked. Notified Customer Care and told that paticular set of dishes were no longer in stock. Of course I was very dissappointed and they were kind enough to advise me of the web site - Replacements.com and told me they would credit my account with the cost of ordering my replacement dish thru them, which of course I did. Customer Care advised me that this was not their normal proceedure so I really feel they went out of their way to please the customer....

I really like these dishes. They are very substantial, more heavy than I excepted. The only small thing I don't love is that the bowl is larger than it looks in the picture. Not huge or anything, but large for just having cereal or soup or something. Otherwise, the quality seems very high and the dishes a really beautiful. Very happy with the purchase!

Great set of dishes from Sango. Done in today's trendy square shape, they're well made with good color saturation and nice weight. Santa brought my daughter 3 sets for Christmas and she was ecstatic. Loved the quality, the color and the design. All three sets arrived in great shape with the exception of three single broken pieces. But not to worry. I contacted Overstock and was immediately sent out replacement pieces that arrived in And this is why I continue to be a huge fan of the big "O". Great prices, quality products, super-fast. inexpensive shipping and top-notch customer service...what more could you want!

Very heavy, large pieces. Good quality, excellent value. Love the dishes. One piece arrived broken but O.co immediately replaced. Great customer service. Mixed with white serving dishes since other pieces are not available. Gives table setting a contemporary flair.

When they arrived (I picked them up at UPS) the outer box was distroyed ~ only one dinner plate was cracked. I hand wash my dishes and every time I wash these I hear cracking sounds...it must be the glaze" its not the dishes themselves. A replacement plate was sent - it arrived smashed in a box that was alot to big for the plate. The UPS lady said it was impropperly packaged :( no kidding! The dinner plates are very heavy ~ maybe to much so. I thought if I liked them I would buy another set to have service for 8 ~ but I would not buy these again.

I was very happy with the price and speed in which order was received. I was not pleased 2 plates out of each box were shattered. I was told new plates if still available would be shipped out without having to return damaged product. I was told shattered plates a hazard. I have always been happy and satisfied with Overstock.com. This is first time item was damaged.
