We liked the look, and finish on these bowls. They are quite deep, and if you want to make classic broiled cheese topped soup, you'll need a large amount of soup!! More of a dinner sized portion than an appetizer, as they hold 20 oz. of liquid. The handles are a nice touch, and easy to hold.

The onion soup bowls are great. Used them the first day they arrived and they hold the perfect amount and do great under the broiler. They are just what I needed. Searched at many stores for something like these.

I ordered these crocks and was very pleased when they arrived... i had been looking for soup crocks for a while now and they were all so expensive that i couldnt bring myself to purchase them any where. Then i found these and for the price i ordered them.... as soon as they came i got back online and ordered another set of them.... they are great... perfect size... and they stack in the cabinet great for storing. Love the bowls, I've been looking for onion soup bowls for a while. They were twice a much anywhere else and not easy to find. I wanted to have them for our mountain home in Utah. Hot French Onion soup on a winters day! Great find, great price.

Grate item only time will tell. I have other Sango items and I use them all the time.

These bowls were cute, however, all of the handles have now broken off. Not a good product.

I did read the reviews about the handle falling off but took a chance anyway. I was not aware they were not oven proof so that is a bit of a concern since I bought them to make french onion soup, but the reviews said they were put under the broiler so I am keeping my fingers crossed on that one. If was my own fault i did not read the description as well as i should have. Hopefully they will work!

Upsrt how it was packaged. Opened box to see handle broken off. UPS just called today to asked if product ever made it to my home. a TRACER WAS JUST PLACD BY o AFTER 20 DAYS.

These are wonderful for all the soups we eat in winter here. Far more substantial (and healthier) than anything made locally. I initially thought they should have lids, but after using them, lids are unnecessary. They have very many uses: pico; salsas; crema; horseradish, and any sauce you might want to serve. Love the long handles.

The bowls are very nice had hold more than you think they would. I wish the handles were thicker and a little longer, but all in all very nice.

One of the bowl handles was broken during shipping. That causes me to wonder if the handle is reliable. OS could not replace as the brown bowls are out of stock. This size of great and they've been through the dishwasher....so far, so good.

Loved the color, the size, cleaned up easy, BUT 2 handles broke off - both within the first 2 weeks. 1 came out of the diswaher with the handle off (broke in pieces-could not glue) not sure what happened to the 2nd one. Was thinking about ordering a 2nd one - but have changed my mind.

Bought these as a gift for my daughter who recently purchased a new home. The first handle broke off in her dishwasher on the first washing. The second handle broke as I was hand washing one of these. Cannot recommend. I think the handle will all be broken off after a month.
