Sango Avanti Brown 16-piece Dinnerware Set

I absolutely love these dishes. The only negative thing I would say is that the larger plates are a little too big. They fit in my microwave but can't rotate on the turntable and they need to be placed carefully in the dishwasher. Other than that, they are gorgeous, sturdy and I am so glad I got them. I was a little nervous when they arrived due to the condition of the outside box, but they were packed very well and nothing arrived broken.

First and foremost, Overstock does an amazing job packaging these to ship. I was very nervous to order plates, but they did an incredible job. Now, people have reviewed the chipping and I know that will happen with these plates. One of the small plates already came with a small chip, at no fault to overstock. You have to go into knowing these plates will probably chip, based on how they are made and people will get careless with them over time as we as people do. For the price, how can you beat these? I ordered two sets and they will be used daily. I know if I am careful with them, they will stay nice longer. I know if I'm careless and bang them around, they'll chip like crazy. I don't have children and would not suggest having these if you do have kids because chances are they will be beat up pretty bad very quickly. If you like nice dishes and you're willing to be careful with them, they're perfect. If you need durable plates, I wouldn't go this route. I would expect to have to treat these like you treat fine China otherwise they'll be a mess. If you go into these plates with that mentality, you'll be very happy, especially at this price point.

These dishes were purchased as a Christmas gift for my wonderful significant other! What a great purchase it has been! They are wonderful for company or everyday! I ended up buying the "extras" - extra dihes, salt & pepper shakers, butter dish, etc. Would strongly recommed to anyone!!! Great product! Thank you Overstock.com for a great price!
