Had I known the fabric on this bench was going to be so cheap looking, I would never had ordered it. The chenille fabric always looks dirty unless you run your hands over it after sitting in it, and the arms still look dirty no matter how many times you run your hands over it. I read another review from an Interior Designer who used this for one their clients and thought to myslef "well if a designer would buy one for a client and for themselves I will get one" I ended up putting it in my guest room at the foot of the bed because it looked very cheap/low quality in my living room. The entire assembly process was enough t o make me want to gouge my eyes out with the allen wrench it came with or just return it, why it could not have just have come assembled and boxed /ready to go from the maufacturer still makes no sense to me. Very disappointed, I wish they would have made this in a simple linen fabric, or at least a poly-blend linen looking material would have made such a major difference. Once you assemble it and tighten it , the piece seems sturdy enough and it is VERY uncomfortable. I would have returned it, but I simply did not want to deal with it any more. You may want at 4 people over to assemble this one. Good luck!!!

A great piece that looks great in my living room. It's a chenille kind of material that shows direction, so you might need to run your hand over it to smooth it out after the kids get off (if that kind of thing bugs you). I bought it for parties, but it's the kids' new fave piece. I have to fight to sit on it. Shipping was incredibly fast, by the way.

If it could be recovered for $75-$100 it would be perfect for contemporary styled extra seating around a larger home, or at the foot of a bed. The picture is deceiving. It is covered in a very cheap looking fabric. You get what you pay for....it was cheap. I'll find a place for the two i bought, but they won't go where i wanted them.

This bench looks nicer in the picture. The color is a little drab in person. It's not as chic as I expected. It's not comfortable so it will be for taking shoes off and thats about it. It was a little difficult to put together but not impossible.

We put this piece infront of our fireplace. It really looks great & makes our room look & feel cozy. The nailhead trim looks hand done. We are soo happy with this purchase.

One of the parts was broken, customer service shipped a replacement. The construction of this bench is extremely poor and it is impossible to properly tighten. The arms are loose and the bench cannot handle any weight.

We placed this bench at the foot of a king size bed. Width is right on with the bed. Makes for ideal place to put sham and other pillows at night and sits at proper height to dress with socks and shoes.

I like it. But the onky thing is I didnt pay that close attention to the type of upholstery. Its ok I guess. I wasn't that excited once I saw it put together. Quality so far seems really good though.

I purchased this bench to separate my foyer from my dining room and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I was a bit leery to purchase this based on some of the other reviews of the bench being poor quality. For the price, I am extremely happy with my decision. The fabric is a light-colored chenille, so when you put something on the bench or someone sits on it, you can see an indentation on the fabric. I simply rub my hands over the fabric to get it to lay back down so to speak. If you are looking for something that is very attractive and good quality for a great price, this is a fantastic bench.

This bench looks ok in person. The fabric is alright (not great) but fine for the price. My only complaint is the weight limit. It is large enough to seat two adults but it can only handle 250 lbs. I bought it for my living room for additional seating and I figured a couple could fit close together on this bench but I am scared it might break. Like even if the woman only weighs 100lbs then the man can only weight 150lbs. That seems unlikely. So I am bummed it looks like it could be for two people but it can't.

i watched this bench for a year on overstock and finally made my move in the spring. it arrived in a huge box but all pieces were easy to carry (I am 5'2) to my upstaries bedroom. I was able to assemle very quickly as the directions were easy to follow. The bench is a perfect sccessory for the foot of a bed and gave our room the finised off look it needed. The bench is not soft to fit on, very firm but who cares. The only time we use it besides piling our pillows on it is to put on our socks! beautiful bench, great price, I love overstock!

I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the bench. It arrived in just a few days and was very easy to assemble. The color is perfect. This seems to be very well made as all other Overstock purchased have been.

I really like this bench. It looks just like I wanted it to look in the area it is placed in. It took my son a long time to put the arms and legs on but he did'nt complain too much. It is well built. The seat is a little firm but I think it will be fine in time. The designer did a good job on this one.

This product is as nice as it is in the picture. It is slightly darker than it appears online but still a wonderful color. I had no problems assembling it by myself--it only took about 20 mins. The seat cushion is firm but comfortable. Great deal for the price.

This bench is lovely. It's very soft and sophisticated. I have it in my bedroom and am considering putting another one in my entry way. Color is pretty much true to photo, fabric has more texture than shown. Very pretty.
