San Lucas 3-light Antique Bronze Pendant Chandelier with Beige Shade

I actually ended up having to return this San Lucas fixture because of an error in my builder's lighting schedule printout--so I had too many light fixtures. But since the other reviews were so poor, I thought I'd give my review of it anyway to give another perspective. In spite of the bad reviews, I took a chance because I liked the shape of this and wanted to use it in a vaulted ceiling guest bedroom. I received it, all pieces were there and packing was completely adequate--no parts floating around loose, all wrapped and protected. Assembly was quite simple. The shade however, had a flaw in the material, so it looked like a hosiery run in one spot. I called & was quickly shipped another fixture to replace it. That one had no problems, and I think it would have looked great installed. The metal brackets visible above give it a bit of extra interest. The shade is made of a material I could not identify. It looks like fabric, but is very smooth and firm, so I actually wasn't sure what it was--maybe fabric, but not sure. Overstock customer service was great. I was not required to ship back the defective shade or wait. For this price point, it's a great light fixture.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It's a bit lighter than website--shade is a light creamy beige (yellow tones) with dark edges
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Overall for the price, it looks very good and seems quite well constructed.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Color listed as beige -- it's a slightly a creamy yellowish--very nice, but not a pure beige.
