    I had trouble getting both units to work. Seems like one would kind of run and then the other seemed to get stuck on the pepper corns and would just stop. I did send it back and got a full refund including the shipping and handling charges.

  • I wanted so much to like them :(

    I was looking to receiving this. It looked great out of the box. However, as soon as I tried to load the chamber with whole peppers I could not get it open. It just wouldn't budge. Directions said turn counterclockwise but you actually had to turn clockwise. :^{ Okay, I forgave them for lousy instructions. Next I got ready to load the grinder with batteries. Each grinder takes SIX AA batteries! Therefore the unit is a heavier than a manual grinder. The first time I tipped the grinder it produced freshly ground pepper. A light comes in when in use. Nice touch. However, the second time I tipped the grinder after a second it stopped. A pepper was lodged in and stuck. I followed the directions by lightly tapping the grinder to dislodge pepper without any luck. I had to open the chamber (which is not an easy task, for it sticks) and stick a toothpick in to loosen the while pepper. To make a long story short, the grinders (salt and pepper)only worked flawlessly 1 out of 5 times. Very frustrating. I decided the frustration was not worth it. I got this to make cooking more efficient but all I it was wasted time and aggravation. Needless to say, I decided to return them. As I prepared the grinders for return, I couldn't open the salt chamber. I really wanted this to work, but the mechanism needs more work to alleviate the constant blockage.
