I received the chair two days ago, and I was waiting for my husband to come home to put it together. To my surprise, my 23 year old daughter had it all put together when I got home from work today!! I was shocked, but very happy! She said it was easy to assemble, and the chair is not only comfortable, but beautiful as well! The color is a true burgundy, which matched my new burgundy leather sofa beautifully. It is a big chair, and very well made. The only thing, is that the back cushion did need more stuffing to make it a bit firmer. That was very easy to do though, because the pillow zips open. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Yes the chair is pretty. very easy to put together. it took about 10 minutes with my daughter holding the parts in place so I could screw in the screws. and I am no rocket scientist. But the material was much darker that the picture. Very dark burgandy. Very. It also has a very high sheen to it. The sheen is red. A very different kind of material that I have every seen in a chair. Just know that is is dark! I am going to make it work in my new living room but will have to base my other decorating decisions on this color.

The quality of the frame and fabric are good, and lend a classy touch to my traditional formal living area. For the price it is a good value for a bergere style chair. I have the restoration hardware vintage velvet cayenne drapes which blend well with this chair. The cayenne is far more red than the brown chair---but, it is in the same family.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? THe color is not burgundy, nor is it the rust-red shown on my screen. It is a deep dark red that is very browned, warm undertones, with warm gold highlights.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The seat cushion is ultra hard. I am going to see if I can cut it in half and wrap it in batting to soften it up. Otherwise I will need to take it to an upholstery shop and have a more comfortable cushion enclosed. The chair is so deep that the loose back cushion needs extra fill. This chair fits a person 5' 9" or taller.

Excellent price on a beautiful bergere chair! I did some comparison shopping in stores and online--nothing comes close for a similar price. Bought a pair for my living room and am very pleased. Previous reviewers were accurate about the filling for the back cushion and the size of the (very firm) seat. It is a large chair. Assembly was easy, but be sure to wait until the last stage to tighten screws and bolts.

We ordered two of these chairs to replace two overstuffed club chairs we were tired of. They are a great value and we got in on a $1.00 to ship an order. My husband has been referring to them as the "big butt" chairs but he likes them. They have a broad base for sure so you should probably be sure your room can accommodate them.

Love this chair, Great price for the quality. I have priced this type of chair at furniture stores and they run between $600 to over $1,000. The only problem is the instructions could be better written and the back cushion is a little under stuffed. Nice chair for the price.

I love the chair, my husband is disabled and I am in my 70's and I am very proud to say I put it together myself. It was quite easy to do, every part had a place to go and each screw and bolt fit right where it was supposed to fit with no problem. It is a lovely chair. The wood on the chair is very nice and the chair is not flimsy at all but very sturdy.

Overall it's a very good chair. Company has expressed how comfortable it is and the color are very close to what I saw on-line. The reason I did not give it an Excellent rating is that the instructions where a bit off when it come to connecting the arms to the chair and what to do with the base. Not rocket science thought but it did throw me off when attaching the bottom. You only need one screw and not two as you would expect when looking the the arm and the attachment area. But very very happy with my order.

Love these chairs. Easy to put together. They are larger than expected so you need a lot of room, but they are very comfortable and we like them. I'd say these are like a chair and a half.

I hesitated in buying two of these chairs in November and was so disappointed when they sold out before I could purchase them. I ordered them the minute I received an email that they were back in stock. They are beautiful, comfortable chairs that look great on either side of my family room fireplace. The assembly is a bit challenging (be sure to put the seat bottom on before the arms), but otherwise I am thrilled with the quality, comfort and expensive look of these chairs. The color is a dark burgundy with accents of brown, light gold and even a touch of red. The finish is a nice cherry color. Don't hesitate in buying these chairs!

This chair is very pretty and is worth the price I paid for it. However, you should be aware that the color is definitely more wine than burgundy. Fortunately for me, this was not a problem. As stated in other reviews, the bottom cushion is hard and the back pillow is flimsy, needing more stuffing because of the depth of the chair. I purchased the chair for my bedroom and if I do sit in it for awhile I'll just add another pillow behind my back.

This chair is so rich looking and looks very expensive. It is very sturdy and comfortable. It too about one hour to assemble. I love this chair and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful accent chair.

I waited for these chairs for a long time to return to overstock.com, and it was well worth the wait! My husband and I put the 2 chairs together in about 2 hours. They look beautiful in my home!!! I would reccommend an additional back pillow because the chair back is very deep. The seat cushion is somewhat hard, although it is foam and should soften with time. Factory dye smell for the first week or so, but gone now. The wood looks beautiful and much more expensive than it was. I love them!!

After reading all the glowing reviews I expected this to be better. The assembly is not insignificant and if you don't hold the screws at just the right angle it won't work.... much more time needed than described in other reviews. 2 of us took about an hour to assemble. The seat cushion is very hard and the back cushion is very soft. Will need to get both changed out to make the chair comfortable. The chair is also VERY high -- higher than average sofa height so will need to have the legs cut down too. The color is russet - a dark brownish red, not burgundy. The fabric is lovely. After I get this chair adjusted, it will wind up costing a lot more and I will have spent a a lot of time on making it comfortable.

The wood finish and fitting was poor. The assembly did not work well and several attempts with additional fittings were needed. The assembly screw housings and fitting were inadequate and of poor quality. The fabric was good and as shown on website. For the price and poor finish - I would not buy it again! I expected a better product.

Really love this chair! This is a lovely chair and the price is nice! It is a large chair and well suited for my husband who is 6'3". I am 5'5" so it is a little big for me but I love the way they look in my livingroom and they are a good match for the Heritage wool rug I also bought from Overstock. (The only thing I would change about them is the back cushion could be a little larger but overall it is a beautiful chair.)

I viewed this chair several times but decided to go witih another selection, which I placed in the shopping chart. Due to distractions I never placed the order. When I returned, I once again viewed this chair and I am so happy that I did. I finally decided to go with this selection and I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. This chair is beautiful and elegent, the seating is large enough for anyone to fit in comfortably. I love this chair so much I am ordering another one.
