Disappointed
I was really excited to get these chairs. they arrived in a VERY LARGE box which was sitting outside of the door. I immediately drug the box inside and attempted to assemble the chairs. the actual chair itself is a sleek design and it looked really pretty. i had to unzip a "pouch" at the bottom of the chairs which house the legs and the hardware. the legs had a few scratches on them, but nothing too horrible. the problem was that the chairs were not labeled correctly and my fiance and i spent two hours trying to assemble the legs to the chair. no matter the combinations that we tried, the legs would not fit. the screws and washers would go on tight, but the legs still wobbled and not a little, but a LOT. the space for the legs were too large and the hardware was flimsy, it broke off a few times and we had to hammer them back in. We eventually gave up and i called Overstock. the Customer Service rep was helpful. he told me i had two choices, i could keep the obviously non-functional chairs and receive a substantial discount or i could send the items back at which time he would immediately ship out new chairs. I chose shipment of new chairs with hopes that they will work out. they should be arriving today. i will post the results of these chairs to let you know if they are worth buying. it's a lot of money to waste.

Mixed bag...
These chairs are just ok, not excited about them, but not bad enough to send back. The color is much darker than in the picture. More like tan then beige. All the legs had scratches or dents which was frustrating. On some of the legs you could see that someone had already used a black marker to color them in. But my biggest complaint is how they came packaged. The main part of the chair is inside a bag and the legs were zippered inside the bottom of the chair...but all the hardware (screws and washers) were supposed to be in Ziploc bags. The bags were not closed and all the screws and washers were actually loose INSIDE the chair! It took me 30 minutes to shake the chairs to try and get them all to fall out and one screw was so stuck I had to patiently try and get the screw to fall close enough to the leg hole and then use pliers to extract it. And to make matters worse, washers were missing so I have to go buy some to put these chairs together. I know this is not Overstock's fault as you can tell the box came directly from Safavieh. Other than that, the chairs look good with my new dining room table.
