I loved the rugs when they came. Absolutely loved them. BUT, how disappointing to have the color fade to almost no color in a very short time. One of the two I purchases was under a roof staying dry and in some shade, yet both the rugs lost their color in a very short time. I still would love to have these rugs, but I would put them away until I was having company. Had I been warned that they would fade, I would have kept them put away until I wanted to roll them out for company. Very disappointing to have them look so pretty, then lose their color and look so blah.
I bought this rug because it looks bright red and white. Come to find out it's actually more of a dark red/ wine color. Not happy with the color at all, but I'll have to make it work.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Way off. It's more deep red/ wine maroon than the bright red depicted.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fine
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Color was way off
This rug has a classic look that compliments a red, white and black color scheme on my front porch. The white is more of a bone color, but it works nonetheless. I have had Safavieh rugs all over my house for the past two years and they have proven to be indestructible- 150 lbs dogs, teenagers and a lot of traffic concentrated in small areas. They're easy to clean but rarely look dirty and add a nice dimension to the decor.
Not red - no burgundy either as some reviews said. This is more orange, terra cotta color. This manufacturer seems to lack quality control on color. I will keep it rather than the hassle of returning, but my porch is RED brick and the orange does not look good.
There is nothing wrong with this rug -- it's stylish, well priced, and very different from other outdoor rugs on the market. I loved the round shape, the size, and the plaid has a really cool retro vibe. The issue with it for me was the color. I couldn't tell on my monitor whether the red was bright or more maroon and whether the light areas would look close enough to white to gel with my patio furniture, but I loved the plaid, so I ordered it to find out. It turns out the red is not a bright candy apple but rather a deeper hue (somewhere between maroon and true red) and the light areas are a darker ivory color. I sent it back free of charge for store credit -- thanks, Overstock! If you are looking for a darker red and if a deep bone color works for your decor, I think you will love this rug.
I was looking for that perfect rug that could handle high traffic and look casual in our rec room. We put this one under our pool table and across the walkway. It's adorable! It looks like a beautiful picnic blanket which helps create the tone we wanted. And the quality is great! We even bought 3 others in black!
The rug is better than what I expected. I got the round 5ft rug for my kitchen and it looks beautiful. it's light and easy to carry arou;f but doesn't move on the floor. I'm thinking about ordera small one for my bathroom and a rectangle one for my living room. I couldn't be happier with my purchase
