I noticed that some of the side tables seem to have the width and depth measurements backwards. Is this table actually 17" deep and 14" wide?
I have been looking for a long time for a piece of furniture to fit my small front entrance way. This piece is perfect. It was exactly the color i was looking for and the perfect size. Most pieces I saw looked like an end table, but this stands alone perfectly and the book border adds character. I am so happy with this purchase. The drawer comes in handy to throw keys and small items. It also came put together which is a big plus!!!...

This table just arrived today. It is constructed very shoddily. The drawer will not completely close all the way. The top molding is coming unglued and is cracked. Two of the legs are missing the padding on the bottom. I am extremely disappointed. I can't believe an item of this quality would even be carried by Overstock. I have to say the customer service at least was wonderful. They are covering the cost of returning the item. I would have been mad to the point of not using their website again if I had lost any money on this cheap table that wasn't listed at ta price it was worth to begin with. I know $XXX is a good deal for a piece of furniture but not it the piece is a complete piece of garbage. I have always been happy with Overstock in the past and I will continue to use them after dealing with a very helpful customer service agent who made good on the transaction. The basic design is a nice one, but the product is cheaply made and cheaply packaged. We will be using it as a bedside table. If you have kids or are rough on furniture you might want to look for something else. In any case, I don't think it would last long in its advertised role of a telephone table. Our first one arrived with the top corners smashed because the styrofoam padding shifted during transit. There was no obvious damage to the box so I don't believe it was rough handling that caused the damage. The product is packaged with Styrofoam corner blocks that are placed in position with nothing holding them in place. The outer box is typical cheap chinese cardboard without much rigidity. Those two facts coupled together mean that the product really shouldn't be shipped by common carrier unless it has been secondarily boxed. Our replacement arrived in good condition. However one of the drawer rails hadn't been properly fastened in place and was loose. It was quick work to repair it with a brad nailer, but for the price I shouldn't have to be repairing it. The bottom line is that this is more of a $75 level of product than a $150 level. Overstock says than unless UPS comes and picks up the damaged one I can "dispose of it". If that's the case I'll do a light repair on the smashed corners and put it on the less visible side of the bed. It will look like it has been bounced around in moves over the years, but will otherwise be functional. So with repairs to both of them, I guess I'll have two of them for the price of one, just about where the actual price of the product should be.Read More

Seems to be a solid, well-made table. No wobbles. It's found it's home in my rather small (4' x 4') vestibule as a place to throw keys, mail, etc. The size, height, lower display shelf and woven wood drawer-front is what drew me to it. The drawer comes in handy for those things which can't seem to find a permanent home elsewhere in the house. Never can have too many "junk drawers." It came fully assembled, just pulled it out of the box and surrounding styrofoam and 'voila'! Can't beat that w/a stick. Looks nice, and seems to be holding up to pretty regular use, so I'm satisfied w/this purchase.Read More
This is a traditional style table with a lot of style. Its size is just perfect for a small cottage. Although small, its an attention-getter and doesn't disappear with placement in a corner. The addition of a drawer and shelf enhances its usefulness. The wicker on the front of the drawer is a unique touch! Love it!Read More
Looks great, good size and quality - as long as the drawer does not hold heavy items.Read More
We really liked the size and the height of this end table (bought for our master bedroom). However, one of the table arrived with chip and scratches on it, which we were ok with, but the table itself appear really cheap for how much it cost. The entire table is made up of some cheap card board (that's how it feels), and it is lighter than a feather. Maybe this is what you are looking for, but it didn't work for us. Definitely going back. The wicker part is flimsy as well.Read More
