    I was blown away by the quality of this chair, especially considering the price. Also it must be noted that it was packed carefully and thoughtfully. There was not a mark or damage on it. It was one of my best on-line purchases ever!

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Fabric is darker than the photo as other reviewers stated. I would describe it as a light taupe.Fabric has a linen-like texture

  • Better than anticipated

    These chairs are elegant without being formal. Beautiful compliment to a stone base and glass table top dining set.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Good but the color and texture are much better in person and a bit darker.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Excellent quality. I bought 6 and not one of them has a wobble at all and the stiching is perfect.
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Good but the detailing is much better than described. A close up of the carving would be nice.

  • modern twist to antique

    Chairs arrived today packed very nice in a box fully assembled. They are very sturdy chairs and true to color. Look great in my 1900's bungalow home but dont appear "old" looking. very pleased!

  • Beautiful Chairs!

    Overall very pleased. They are more comfortable then you'd think. The quality is very good. The oak wood is beautiful. The chair cushions are darker than pictured but I believe nicer. They are more like a light grayish brown which I think will only be better for hiding dirt. The only reason I gave these 4 stars is because one of the chair legs was shorter than the other 3. My husband believes this is a quick home depot fix to add length but still the other chair was perfect so I don't understand why one came defective.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is a little darker than pictured. Almost a light grayish brown. Much prettier than the pic.

  • Nice oak chairs

    I ordered 4 of these chairs to use with an antique oak table in my dining room. The oak color is alittle lighter than I would have liked, but they look very nice with the darker oak table. My only complaint is the texture of the wood is alittle rougher than I would have liked but I would recommend them to others.

I had chatted with someone on saturday about the width of this chair? is the measurement listed the box or chair width? it seems wide? never heard back even though they said within 2-3 days  on Feb 15, 2012

The product dim are correct- the box dim are actually 19.3 H x 41.3 W x 26 L. This item comes in a set of 2’s. The chairs are packed one right side up, and other upside down. Please feel free to contact us again with further questions. overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 21, 2012
