We use this in our laundry/mud room. It's nice-looking and cleans up perfectly if there's a spill or mud tracked in. I probably would use it (in a different size) under a kitchen table if we had young kids and needed a rug we could wipe clean. Otherwise, I wouldn't use it indoors, except in a laundry room, mud room, or basement. It's a little plastic looking.
Nice style rug but I paid way too much ( checked the next week at the price and I could have saved about $25). I have in my mudroom. Nice color. The thing i do not like is that one side not straight.it is very crooked. Not sure how to stretch out the one side.
I had bounced between Overstock and a few other sites looking for outdoor rugs for a breezeway area. One of the "flash sale" sites had these same rugs on "clearance" for $20 more each - I had thought that they just resembled this rug, but when I got the two I ordered from Overstock in the mail today, they were the exact same high end brand. (Which pleased me tremendously!) Note that the rugs do come tightly rolled (as expected when shopping online) but even after a few hours they've relaxed and are laying flat. Another 24-hours and they should sit perfectly. They are definitely outdoor material - a bit thick and "crunchy" for interior use - but I was looking for something to put in a high traffic area that I could hose dog prints and kid's muddy shoe prints off of. I feel like I got a great deal on exactly what I was looking for.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color is more of a slate blue/grey in person - it appears to be a dark grey on the site.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Thick rug, very good quality, surprised to see that it was manufactured by a high-end label.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Site description was accurate, after reading other reviews I knew to expect a slate blue/grey color which is what I was looking for.
as another reviewer mentioned, the rug we received is slightly "crooked", but not enough to make it distracting or unusable. another negative: the ends are folded then glued down and there were globs of glue stuck to the front side of the rug, most of which came out. on the plus side, the anthracite color is nicer than shown online, as it is slightly darker; also, it's a very low-maintenance rug. overall though, it's probably overpriced for the quality.
This looked TOTALLY different than the picture! It was about 4 times darker, and looks kinda "plastic-y" (not a word but didn't have a better way to describe it). Im keeping it as an entry-way rug because it will be easily cleaned and I will get a new one soon, but the colors and quality are really OFF compared to what they look like on the website.
I was looking for a rug for my entry space with a geometric pattern in a neutral color. This rug, while being for outdoor use, works great. It lays flat and allows the door to open over it easily and adds interest to the entry space. The color anthracite really looks grey, as I hoped it would. Can't beat it for the price.
The manufacturer rolls up the rug & puts it in a plastic sleeve. That's all. Then UPS throws it on the floor of the truck & stacks dozens of heavy boxes on top of it. Outcome? Instead of opening a roll, you open a flattened pancake that unrolls into the waves of creases that will never relax. Perhaps some open-ended cardboard boxes on the ends would give it some stability for transportation.
Although the pattern was very nice, the color was very off base. The dye lot had too much blue. I should have listened to the other reviews before ordering. I wanted a dark grey and it reads blue. The rug is not returnable so I have to keep it. What I did was flip it over and use the other side. It is for a redone kitchen and the wash ability is the saving grace. It also was a bit too pricey. It is a good little rug at poolside for sure.
I bought this to replace another outdoor rug. This one is not the tightly woven polypropylene that is usually what outdoor rugs are made from. This is more like long polyester fibers. It looks cheap and I don't think it will wear well. I would not recommend it.
This is my second rug by this company and I like the quality of these rugs. I have on on my deck overlooking the ocean and it has held up extremely well! (Even with all the sun and salt air) cleaning up a spill is a breeze. Highly recommend ! Color is perfect.
