The rug seems durable and well-constructed. The pile is dense and even. The design is beautiful, though not as precise and intricate as it would be on a more expensive rug. The colors are muted but not faded. The website picture looks darker and higher-contrast on my computer screen than the actual colors - on the site, the main color looks like a very dark brown, but in person it's brick red, dark but not that dark. The border is a soft rusty orange, and the other colors are beige/tan (the product description calls it ivory, but it's darker than that), sage green, mustard yellow, and a pale greyish blue. The rug I received has a slightly different design from the one pictured on the website. In the latter, the rust border is edged by two narrow mustard bands with what looks like a scroll design; in the rug I received, the narrow bands are of tan and dark red triangles.
