    I researched rugs for 4-5 months before making a purchase. I wanted a rug to match the cool color tones in my living room (khaki walls, mix of light blues/greens) and bought this rug to complement my room decor. The price of this rug CANNOT be beat. I researched other Safavieh rugs on multiple websites and I saved at least $*** on Overstock. The rug is very high quality with a super soft pile. When we first unrolled it, there was an odor for a few days. After airing out for a few days and using carpet powder with my vacuum - it was gone! The rug will shed (which is normal for a wool rug). I recommend vacuuming every few days for the first few weeks. Color: The picture makes it look VERY light. The colors are actually more rich looking in person. This pleasantly surprised me because the richer colors will conceal stains a lot more and looked great with our decor. The color does appear lighter during different times of the day. The dark portions of the rug in the picture are maroon, not brown. I was trying to avoid ANY trace of red in the rug, but like I said I was pleasantly surprised with the colors. Pile: The pile of the rug is perfect. It is so soft to sit on and I know we will use this rug for years to come as we have children. I would definitely purchase the rug again and would recommend it to a friend. Also - FAST shipping. I was told 5-10 business days when I placed the order and it arrived in 5. Free shipping was definitely a plus!

    I was expecting a different color. When I re-read the description I guess it was accurate but the rug is a grey/green and looks a little dingy. I am using it in what was a ladies dressing room in an historic home. It fits perfectly but I wish I had chosen something a little lighter in color. The rug is very thick and nice quality.

    After battling with the packaging we were hoping to like the rug. Wow! It turned out to be better than expected. I was a little concerned about buying unseen, in the flesh, so to speak. Having read the reviews I was hoping the colors would be right and yes it is definitely a blue grey not grey just as I hoped. The sort of color that goes with almost anything. The label actually says blue so perhaps the description needs some modification. The rug is soft and our 2 dogs have certainly taken to it! We will be looking to purchase another 2 in different sizes so I think that says we are impressed with the quality and appearance. Not to mention the service from Overstock. A really great buy!     I was worried that the color was not right since the description says the rug is "grey". I talked to Customer Service and they said that if it was not right once it was in my room, they would pay for the return shipping. I could not lose! I ordered the rug in the 8 x 10 size and am so pleased with it - I love it! And it is a blue, not grey. They need to change their description. It is a blue-grey, but definitely a light blue. It goes great in my dining room - even the Yellow Lab loves to lay on it - very soft! The quality is very high and the price was so reasonable that I could not believe it - less than half of what I expected to pay. I will definitely come back to Overstock for other items. Thank you!
