The rug is beautiful and contemporary, and its thickness is very nice (the .5" pile). However, my problem with the rug right now is that it sheds horribly. I find blue fibers all over my house. I've had the rug for about 3 weeks and have vacuumed it 5 times now. I can make it halfway through vacuuming the 8'x10' rug before I need to empty my vacuum out. It is unbelievable! I just hope that it will level off soon and the shedding will stop, or at least reach a more reasonable point. I can't deal with it the way it is right now. If it keeps up, I would consider getting rid of it.
Beautiful, deep blue with a cream moroccan pattern outline. True to the photo and adds the perfect amount of bold pattern without overwhelming the room. NOTE: it does shed. After several vacuumings (with a Dyson), it continues to have loose fibers. Nothing noticeable within the rug itself, but it's not unusual to find blue "furballs" around the corners of the room every now and then. If my kids end up lying on it, they are generally covered with itchy blue and cream wool fibers. Even had I known this ahead of time, it wouldn't have stopped me from ordering it vs. the beauty of the rug. I think that's just typical for a natural wool fiber rug.
