This product was described as a blue/grey and ivory chevron pattern and the picture made it look more grey then blue. But the rug I got is totally blue not grey at all. I'm talking sky blue. It did not match my room at all. And it's expensive. Don't buy it. The description is all wrong.
Love the look, feels soft underfoot, but the darn thing sheds like crazy. I can not wear black around the house anymore. The short fuzzy little fibers stick to EVERYTHING. I am vacuuming everyday and so far, after two weeks, it's still creating a layer of fuzz over my entire apartment. At least it was cheap. /:
Couldn't ask for a better rug. Soft, good quality, looks more expensive than what I paid for. Can't wait to furnish the rest of this room. I just ordered a grey hudson babyletto crib to match.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? the grey portion has a very slight blue tint.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. great pile, soft, perfect foundation for my my nursery in progress.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? perfect, I think the rug looks better in person.
When the rug first arrived my initial thought was that Overstock had sent me a light blue/ivory colored rug. I thought maybe it was because of the yellow in my lamps.... but I've had the rug now for two weeks. I tried different bulbs and looked at it in the natural light of day, and no-- the grey never looks grey. Its more of a blue in all honesty. Also, it pills constantly. I have vacuumed but it keeps on pilling. It is just not good quality. That all being said, the rug is soft and pretty (so long as you're ok with blue as a substitute for grey). But since its constantly a mess and the wrong color, I will be returning.
