I had purchased the matching hall runner first and loved it so I ordered the matching large area rug for my living room. Although the color scheme is the same in both rugs, the large rug was not a larger version of the runner. Instead each print in the rug was enlarged. The rug is still beautiful but not exactly what I was expecting. Love the color scheme though and the price was very reasonable. I didn't experience the chemical smell others had mentioned. Be prepared though for ALOT of lint from the rug. For the first 5-6 vacuums, it literally filled the lint bag before we could finish vacuuming. I am having to vacuum every day. After about 2 weeks it only fills the lint bag about a 1/4. It was so bad, you couldn't sit on the rug without the lint being all over your clothes. My husband tells me he expects to find "bald spots" any day now. Nothing like that has happened but be prepared for a lot of vacuuming at first. In saying all of that, I love the rug and would recommend buying from this site. I have purchased rugs from here before and will continue to do so. I did purchase the under-pad since I placed the rug over hardwood floors.Read More
In love!! Colors are true to images online and matches my furniture to a tee. I don't smell the chemical that others have mentioned at all. Super fast delivery but still waiting on my matching runner coming from a different warehouse.Read More
I looked for some months to find a rug large enough for the space we have, yet affordable and with the right combo of colors and pattern. This rug fit the bill on all accounts. We have a tomato red leather couch that is difficult to match, and while the rusts in this rug are not a perfect fit, they do not clash. Only downside was the musty, moldy smell that lasted about a week before it disappeared.Read More
Ordered on Sunday, got it on Tuesday- same rug at half the price of other sellers. Very heavy and thick. Nice muted colors.Read More
The rig was accurately depicted. Nice pile thickness, fits very well into the scheme in my living area. Noticed by visitorsRead More
This is a very heavy rug. Beautiful muted colors, thick and dense pile. My only complaint is that the pile does seem to pull easily. I was going to return it but it was out of stock and I didn't want to wait for another. I've trimmed the pulls and you can't tell the difference.Read More
Am loving this rug so far! The colors are PERFECT for my room, and the rug is thick and soft. It arrived very quickly. There is a chemical smell (which I expected, after reading other reviews, and having ordered rugs online before), but it seems to be fading pretty quickly. I do get quite a bit of lint in the vacuum when I clean the rug, but again, I expected this, as most new rugs tend to shed a bit in the beginning. We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far, I am very pleased with the product!Read More

Best Kid-friendly Fabric for Sofas
Finding the right sofa and loveseats that match your room, have the right look and meet your budget can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. If kid-friendly fabrics are on your must-have list, start by looking below. This article will help you find the best kid-friendly fabrics for sofas, which should repel stains and hold up to added abuse from children jumping, scooting and forgetting to remove their shoes before hopping on the sofa. Microfiber: Microfiber is stain-resistant and comes in different textures. Some microfiber weaves are smooth, like suede, and others are denser, similar to corduroy. You may clean most microfiber with water, but check the manufacturer's tag because a few types of microfiber may require cleaning with a compatible solvent. Wool: For sofas, wool and wool blends are great because of their durability. They're less prone to pilling, snagging and wrinkling than other fabrics. Plus, wool is easy to spot-clean. Vacuum this natural fabric with a hand-held vacuum attachment to remove dust. Leather: Leather is a versatile sofa fabric; it can be elegant or totally casual. Its slick surface makes cleanups relatively easy. Beware if you have pets, as little claws can leave scratch marks. Scuff-repair solutions are available, and they can keep your kids' sofa looking good for years. In addition, a quick treatment with leather conditioner once or twice a year will keep the sofa soft and supple. Vinyl: Vinyl is just as versatile as leather and often has the same smart look, but at a much more affordable price. It's easy to clean, too: just spray it with water and wipe spills away. Vinyl isn't as snuggly as microfiber, but in a playroom, it will hold up to lots of abuse. Denim: Just because a sofa is upholstered in denim doesn't mean it'll look like your worn-out jeans. Just like a comfy pair of jeans, denim is sturdy and goes with everything. In addition, denim sofas are available in a rainbow of colors to match your kids' bedrooms or playroom. Best Leather Handbag Styles
Leather handbags are always in fashion. Whether you carry a large tote or a smaller hobo-style leather purse, your handbag is sure to be a durable, timeless addition to your outfit. Go casual or dressy, and there will be a leather bag that coordinates. Available in smooth dyed cowhide or a variety of animal prints and textures, the top leather handbag styles include the hobo, satchel, tote, shoulder bag and clutch. Hobo. One of the most common bags, the hobo handbag is a great day-to-day option. The top layer of many leather hobo handbags> is made from top-grain leather, since it can be dyed in any color imaginable. The hobo handbag comes in many different sizes, but it is never considered bulky or oversized. A leather hobo handbag can easily accommodate a wallet, cell phone and other personal items with room to spare. Satchel. Top-grain and full-grain leather are commonly used to make satchel handbags. Made for women on the go, the durable leather satchel handbag offers a chest-crossing strap. Satchel handbags leave your hands free to open doors, maneuver strollers or carry shopping bags. Look for a leather satchel handbag with compartments and pockets for convenience. Tote. This oversized handbag option is popular with women who need to carry heavier loads to work or around town. The leather tote has a large capacity that allows you to carry paperwork, a laptop or lunch. Also used by modern mothers, a large leather tote can easily double as a purse-diaper bag combo. A tote's long straps make it easy to throw the bag over your shoulder and go. Shoulder bag. The most versatile handbag is the leather shoulder bag. This handbag commonly has two straps for carrying ease. A short option allows the bag to rest on the shoulder and fit snugly under the armpit. The longer strap allows the bag to rest against the hip when you drape it over your shoulder. Leather shoulder bags can be found in soft suede or top-grain leather. Clutch. The small, hand-held leather clutch may also be referred to as a coin purse. Just large enough to hold your daily essentials -- a little cash, identification, a credit card or two, cell phone and a tube of lipstick -- the clutch is perfect for short trips to the store or a special evening out. Often made of soft suede, a leather clutch is fashionable with strapless gowns and other evening wear. View All Leather Bags Back to Guides Directory View All Leather Bags
Best Ways to Use Paper Shredders
If you're concerned about protecting your personal information and sensitive documents, a paper shredder is an important tool for properly destroying documents. Paper shredders are made with multiple security features. Some shredders cut items into long strips, while cross-cut paper shredders go even further and shred documents into small diamond-shaped pieces. Here are some of the best ways to use a paper shredder to protect your identity and sensitive information. Shred paper documents. Shredding documents containing personal identification reduces the chance of someone obtaining personal information such as your social security number, address, birth date and phone number. Medium-sensitivity documents containing addresses and phone numbers can safely be disposed of with a normal cross-cut or thin strip paper shredder. For more private information and confidential documents, shredders that are medium or high security are the safest selection. These high-end paper shredders cut paper into even smaller pieces. Dispose of media. Some paper shredders are durable enough to destroy CDs and DVDs. As modern life becomes increasingly digital, more and more sensitive information is stored electronically. To protect this data, the right paper shredders reduce CDs and DVDs into jagged shards of plastic, making it impossible for anyone to retrieve sensitive data. Light-duty paper shredders won't shred plastic, but shredders that are medium to heavy duty are capable of shredding CDs and DVDs as well as paper. Destroy old credit cards. Simply breaking an old credit card in half or cutting it up by hand isn't really a safe way to dispose of these easily compromised items. To be sure your credit information is safe, run old or non-used cards through a medium to heavy-duty paper shredder. View All Paper Shredders Back to Guides Directory View All Paper Shredders
