The Himalayan Gabeh rugs takes abstract designs that relies on open fields of fun color and whimsical patterns. Colors are carefully chosen to give an abrashed natural looking look and feel. Hand-tufted of 100-percent wool pile with a cotton canvas backing. Simple contemporary style in hues of blue and dark blue. Extra lush pile provides a comfortable, soft touch.

love this rug!
I love this rug! It lloks richer in perso than the photo because the blue field is slightly darker. There is a very slight variation in the color that also helps create dimension.. Unlike many wool rugs, this one doesn't shed at all.

Pretty Color
This is the 2nd time I've written a review for this product. Not sure why it never posted. I thought the color was vibrant but then I noticed that there was a flaw in the middle of the rug. It was a definite material flaw that made it look like a stain. Now I understand why it is on Overstock- it didn't quite make the cut. I hid the flaw under the bed and made it look purposely at only 30% of the rug revealed as if it was the style of rug. It works for me.

Beautiful and soft
Ordered this rug for my boys room, and they both love it. They now spend hours playing with their cars on it. It looks great in their room.
