This is a comfortable rug with a wider variety of colors so it can match almost any room--great for those of us who paint first and think about rugs later.Read More
I have to say that this carpet is amazing, representative and truly brings value to your home. Colors are not that bright but very nice and easy matching. Love it!Read More
I bought this rug as a present for my grandson who was moving into a new apartment in a new city. We both shopped for just the right rug both on line and in person. My grandson made the final choice and as far as I am concerned, the choice was a good one, I mentioned this particular rug to him because it was priced at half it's value. When he received the rug, he was blown away. He couldn't believe how beautiful and how luxurious the rug actually was. I would recommend this rug to anyone. Terrific buy and great looks.Read More
The photo shows the rug to be a little lighter in color than the actual rug. I appreciate the fact that it has so many colors. However, I was under the impression there would be more red on it, but is actually burgundy. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend this product.Read More
I ordered this rug as a replacement for a rug ordered through Overstock, that ended up not being in stock and no longer available. Upon receiving this rug, I was very disappointed that the described panel (and as seen on my screen) is not peach. Additionally there are numerous pinky-rose panels. I needed the PEACH to match my paint color. I returned this rug yesterday.Read More
I was nervous about ordering such a big rug based on a computer screen picture but went with the colors described in the verbage and was very pleased. I think the picture on the site looks darker than the rug actually is. The outside border is a dark red. I have gotten many compliments on this rug and it has so many colors in it that it goes with almost anything. I feel it is the perfect style between a "modern" look and a traditional Oriental rug - I could not be happier with this purchase. Thank you Overstock.com! Excellent value!Read More
The rug was delivered in 3 days, packed well. The colors were not exactly what we expected but they turned out to fit our bedroom perfectly. The rugs are not hand knotted but hand tuffed as listed. when is a process that uses glue to hold the wool "tuffs" in place so I am not sure if they are as durable as hand knotted. Great price - best I could find online.Read More
I found this rug several months ago on Overstock and finally found the courage to order it. It was delivered three days later (how do they do it?) and it was packaged very well; folded, (rather than rolled) in 2 layers of plastic and paper. I had worries about how we were going to get it around tight turns in our foyer (if it came as a 14' roll) but we got it to the bedroom in a snap. It is very heavy (over 100 lbs), so if you are alone you will have to drag it or have a friend come to help. It looks fabulous in our bedroom! It is very lush and so far we haven't noticed the shedding everyone has written about, but then again it isn't in a high traffic area of our house. It is a hand tufted rug, not a hand knotted rug which are usually thousands more in price - BUT we did see this Exact same brand rug on a department store website that everyone would be familiar with for about twice the money as Overstock! And another feature is that it is real wool, which is natural and flame resistant. We had priced plain 'on the roll' wool carpeting and it too was priced much higher than this great rug. We are so happy with this rug! We will purchase all the other rugs we need from Overstock as well!Read More
This rug is a great value. Compared to other wool, handmade rugs prices, it was a steal! The rug does seem to have a lot of lint (it sheds!), but we're hoping that that'll go away after we break it in. The colors were very nice; muted but still vibrant. It'll go with almost any color, it is so variated. Nice thick pile, too. My daughter loves to crawl around on it, though her socks do take on a pinkish tinge after a couple of hours of playing on it. The colors are great, but the dyes aren't as fast as I'd like. Overall, this is a really nice rug, and hopefully it'll hold up for many years to come.Read More
I was very nervous about order this large of a purchase sight unseen but I read all the reviews, which were very good over all. I know it is going to shed like crazy for a while but I wanted wool. The rug is definately the center piece of the living room now. It's gorgeous! I also order the smaller rug to go in my foyer and it is beautiful too. You can't beat $2.95 shipping and I receive mine in 3 business days!Read More
